Each plate of noodles, fried rice, and vermicelli are all $24 each. They used Frozen veg.( green Beans, corn and peas) on all the dishes. The rice noodles with scrambled eggs and.prawn has frozen veg. in it. The Thai style chicken fried rice has frozen veg in it. The eggs veg vermicelli has no taste and nothing in it also for $24. Although I was willing to pay for that price because of the location. It was really not good in comparison to other HK style cafe.

Ordered delivery and paid over 25$ for a bowl of corn soup and beef pastry. Was presented with a tiny cup of soup and 3 tiny pastries that would barely count as an appetizer. Outrageous portion for the price. My hand is bigger than both items combined.. Total scam!

I’ve visited this Hong Kong–style café many times, and the food is usually quite good. Unfortunately, this visit fell below expectations. One of our dishes had black specks in it, which are typically burnt food residue left on the wok from previous cooking — a sign it wasn’t cleaned properly before preparing the next dish. The dish was also noticeably salty. Hopefully this was just a one off incident, and I’ll update my rating on my next visit. Regarding parking, there are a few free underground spots reserved for Joy Café. Additional paid parking is available in nearby retail lots, and there’s also street parking in the area.

I've been here twice now, and the food is as delicious as ever. The prices are reasonable. Today, I came at 4:00 PM the food come a bit slow . and one dish was missing, but that's okay, as I was already full. Overall, it was good. I recommend you give it a try.

The interior décor of the restaurant is quite new and modern, very different from the traditional Cantonese restaurants that often have older, more dated interiors. The space feels clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed, which gives a more contemporary and comfortable dining atmosphere.
We ordered the $398 king crab set menu, which came with complimentary soup and dessert. The crab appeared to be live and fresh before cooking, and the presentation was nicely done. However, the garlic sauce had a slightly stale or not-so-fresh taste, which unfortunately affected the overall flavor and reduced the natural sweetness and quality of the crab meat. It was disappointing, because the crab itself seemed to be of good quality.
When the cooked king crab was served, the portion seemed smaller than expected — there were only four to five big crab legs on the plate, whereas a whole king crab should normally have six big leg parts. This made the serving feel incomplete and raised some questions about the portion size. Overall, while the restaurant’s décor and atmosphere were modern and pleasant, the execution of the king crab dish fell short, mainly due to the slightly off garlic flavor and the unexpectedly reduced portion.

It was a few years ago, my first impression. I was VERy hungry and then I told ppl not to make it spicy and guess what. ONE hour later(bruh) food comes and it is spicy. I had to wait another 30 mins for my actual order. LMAO I NEVER WENT BACK EVER SINCE
