It was nice , it was on day they will be closing and I was expecting something a little bit special but nothing.., the chef didn't come and say hi - he was here- and any little attention because they will close the next day I was a little bit disappointed that way

Amazing ambiance, with beautiful brick walls and a sparkling chandelier hanging perfectly in the middle. Cozy, quaint and elegant. Best duck confit I have ever tried and the French onion soup was everything I could have wanted

I know you are closing so this doesn't really matter but the waiter was so rude. Reminding us as we sat down that we had a time limit. His mood and approach really put a damper on our experience. Regardless of why, we were coming to say goodbye and for all the places we could have gone, it is a shame that we had that final experience.

Very fortunate to have the pleasure of dining here one last time before they close with close friends. The entire crew were so kind and attentive to every element of the meal. The moules/frites, steak frites, duck confit... everything was beautiful and delicious. Thank you one last time! À bientôt!

Sad to see this place leave. But we are glad we came to try it before they left. Everything we tried was delicious. The French onion soup was perfect, not too salty. The foie gras terrine was tasty and super creamy. The croque Monsieur was buttery and crispy on the outside and the cheese was melty on the inside. But the star was the duck confit. Seriously one of the best duck confits we have ever had. The skin was thin and crispy, the duck was perfectly seasoned and the salad balanced the duck. We really enjoyed our dinner. Thank you and best of luck.

Last dinner at Jules ☹️ Well the salmon was perfectly cooked and I enjoyed the crispy skin with cold, bright salsa. Loved our desserts too. Thank you for all these years of wonderful meals, a cozy room and the best service.

Delicious food and the service was both friendly and perfectly timed. We ordered the escargot, duck confit, and mussels frites. All were fantastic. Topped the night with crème brûlée and it did not disappoint. This meal took us back to our South of France trip from this summer. Highly recommend Jules!

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Vancouver. Sadly they are closing after being in business for 17 years. Make sure you make it there before they do - you won't be disappointed! Great food, very good service, lovely atmosphere.

I used to love Jules but was sadly disappointed this last time. We shared the raw board and it definitely was not worth the 57 dollars. There were 3 oyster, some clams that were not nice enough to eat, one small crab claw and a very skinny crab leg and some rubbery lobster that tasted as though it had been in the microwave too long. I heard they are closing which is why they perhaps weren't interested in giving the best value. Such a shame because I had wonderful dining experiences there in the past.

I'm so sorry they are closing, Vancouver really needs more lovely little French Bistro's like this but omg the rent they have to pay! Get in there before it closes Dec 31

We went for happy hour - red wine and bubbly excellent - charcuterie and cheese board very good with wonderful sourdough buns, fig jam and chef's pate - also opted for escargot and lobster bisque off the main menu. Both were extremely good. Not an inexpensive happy hour, but one could easily drink and eat to one's content ordering only from the happy hour menu for a very reasonable outlay. Jules is closing in 31 days and moving to a new location with a different, French-inspired menu. I hope to return before they close at this location to receive an update of their plans and new location.

We went for the table d'hôte on a Sunday brunch/lunch and we were not disappointed - steak tender and so tasty - perfect fries - not forgetting the soup and desert - we were truly happy and bottle wines half price too ...

These days it's hard to find a good French restaurant in Vancouver. We are so lucky to have found the best. We have eaten in many fine restaurants in France and Jules is comparable. We started out with the fois gras terrine. Beautiful firm texture, lovely creaminess; we would come to this restaurant just for this. Then we had duck leg confit, so rich, so much flavour. We will certainly be back. So much more on the menu to try.

2 day hotel stay Saturday night , 1st visit, didn't disappoint infarct it wont be long before we are back , we live approx. an hour from Vancouver and myself and my wife both agreed we would drive the hour to visit this bistro. Reminds me of all those qualify bistro's in Paris we visited earlier in the year. Very friendly and welcoming , not the largest so would assume booking in advance is a good idea. The food was incredible starting with the chicken liver mousse, which was as good as I have tried and believe me I have tried a lot of it. The Table D'Hote menu for $41 was unbelievable, with a nice salad to start , then steak frites with pepper sauce which was simply stunning , wine was well priced , atmosphere was great and staff were amazing , book today you wont be disappointed

Warm and welcoming, felt transported back to a classic French bistro. Small but excellent cocktail list, well curated wine by the glass selection, extensive but not overwhelming bottled wine list. Escargot melted away in our mouths, as did the foie gras. Small breads and brioche toast were excellent. Two mains of duck leg confit were the best in my memory. Amaretto and a very pleasant grappa made for a delicious finish to a wonderful dining experience.
