had an awful experience because of service. an older man who works there completely forgot that i ordered and paid for food. when i approached him to check if my food was coming, he claimed he didn’t remember me and that i haven’t paid. when i showed him the receipt on my phone, he apologized and gave me a free muffin which i thought was nice of him. everything was fine until my bacon was served to the wrong table and when i told the server that the bacon is actually mine she took it from that table and put it on mine instead of making a new one for me (which is what you’re supposed to do in this situation). later that old man approached that table and confronted them for not speaking up when they received the bacon they didn’t order, except it wasn’t their fault and they were just confused. he was later seen yelling at them again and when they were defending themselves he said he doesn’t wanna speak to them. i thought that was way too aggressive and i wanted to stand up for them. i pulled him aside on my way out and and told him i also work at a restaurant, and mistakes are common, but it’s unacceptable to lash out on your customers and take 0 accountability for your mistakes. (i said that in a much nicer way btw). he completely ignored me and walked away. i have never seen such awful service and abuse at a restaurant. this was unacceptable and i feel so bad for our neighbouring table. i will never be back.

Awful experience. Didn’t deliver my food then said that I didn’t pay.
food and coffee here sucks and is a stressful place to eat at due to owner’s awful attitude and screaming towards his staff.

$25 for 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of cheap thin bacon. It’s literally a $2.00 meal at most. And the maple syrup wasn’t even real. No toast or potatoes included. I was shocked at the price and portions. You also have to get your own water, and pay/ tip first before getting your food. I’m sad because it’s a cool looking place, and I just moved across the street, but I won’t be coming back.

A nice brunch restaurant with acceptable prices. I ordered the pancakes with bacon and fried egg, and they were delicious.

I like the interior design at this restaurant because it gives a nice homey feeling when you're eating. They're best known for sandwiches, so I had a chicken breast sandwich. They provide a variety of sauces, and I recommend adding the Frank's Red Hots sauce to any sandwich to make it taste a lot better than it already does. Their food is obviously homemade but I will say the crusts are very hard and it feels like I may chip a tooth biting into them.

Family run cafe for casual dining. A lot of choices on the menu including salad soup, breakfast Benedict . The sitting area looks like a European restaurant.

Everything is good here. Everything. Nothing is bad.
I started going here for the drinks, then tried the baked goods (they are well balanced and not too sweet). Now I have tried most of the menu and all but a few things do to preference. Staff are always friendly when I pick up my orders and seem to enjoy the work they do. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere as I find it bit noisy and crowded at times for what I like. Overall it is a gem for for drinks and food at least for the cold crafted drinks as I prefer cold to hot so I cannot comment on any hot beverages here but I am sure they must be good like everything else is.

Absolutely great food and service. Very chill local cafe, the bread is baked in house and delicious. I’ve had both breakfast and lunch and liked it all. They offer both vegetarian and vegan options. Sit by the fireplace if you can on a cold day!
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options for both lunch and dinner. The double grilled cheese with fresh veggies and homemade bread is especially good!
