Ordered 3 appetizers. 2 were amazing (Michelin quality). and 1 was good.
Service was great and attentive. Speed of dishes coming out was slightly faster than expected. Overall — 5 star experience

The vibe and atmosphere is great for a night out with friends. I came here on a Saturday night. Drinks were good, food was decent but nothing special. There wasn’t anything innovative about the “Japanese Indonesian” street food concept. The service started off on a positive note, and the server who settled our bill was oddly rude which was disappointing.

This was a few months back but had to share our experience when celebrated an extraordinary milestone: our dear friend’s 40th birthday. The venue? The enchanting Jungle Room Restaurant. The evening was nothing short of magical, and the bespoke menu crafted by the chef made it an unforgettable celebration.

Walking into the Jungle Room was like stepping into a lush, tropical paradise. The vibrant greenery, ambient lighting, and the gentle sounds of nature created an immersive experience that transported us far from the city’s hustle and bustle.

The chef’s attention to detail and passion for his craft were evident in every dish. Each course was a sensory delight, with flavors that were both bold and harmonious. The staff’s warm hospitality and impeccable service made us feel truly special throughout the evening.

As we raised our glasses to toast our friend’s milestone birthday, we couldn’t help but reflect on the beautiful memories we’ve created together. The Jungle Room Restaurant provided the perfect experience for this celebration, with its enchanting ambiance and exceptional cuisine and live music too!
If you’re looking for a unique and memorable dining experience for a special occasion, the Jungle Room Restaurant, with its bespoke menus and magical setting, is an absolute must-visit.

A quite literally 1/10 experience. We were sat on a random table that was placed on a walkway, like a service table where workers will fold towels or roll cutlery. What is most irritating is that we reserved at least a week ahead and so we could have been sat in a better place or honestly not at all, just say sorry no space you are not welcome. We had to ask the server if this was a normal seat or if it was because they were busy. Felt honestly like a micro aggression and insulting. I lived in Southeast Asia and the SingMalay and Indo cuisine are my favourite flavour profiles ever so when I say the food here was mostly trash, it was. The laksa bomb was good with an almost ravioli feel and the flavours match a good laksa soup. The bread and the dip was good but at the the end of the day there’s not a lot of room to screw up bread. The grilled octopus was devoid of flavour except for the burnt taste from over grilling. We skipped to dessert. I love a good crème brûlée because how can you mess up one. Well jungle room puts some disgusting sauce and “cookies”??? beside the crème brûlée. Then puts grenata. It’s like just slapping things together and thinking it’s culinary excellence. Now for the pisang goreng, all I’ll say if the chef’s parent is from Indonesia, they need to apologize to their parents and ancestry. Coated with five layers of sugar, the ice cream was another culinary miss we actually laughed so hard. I have never been so passionate about writing a review and before anyone even asks me I’ll tell them not to come here. Just another TikTok hype. Not pictured, us in a table in the hallway like maids giving a corner to eat.

It’s a cozy place if you are having a drink or two and are more for chat than an experience. The food is okay, but it's a little pricey for what you get.

Average food taste and is a bit pricey for the portion sizes. The music is average compared to other places in the city; it seems like Vancouver doesn’t have an interesting DJ scene.

Love this dark and moody jungle theme restaurant! Service by Alex was amazing. Music by the dj was fantastic. Great vibes all around. Vegan options were great and my meat loving friend enjoyed her meals. Def will be back. Didn’t try the drinks, but food was great!

We were really excited to check this place out, but left a bit disappointed. We ordered the tasting menu for four people, which was alright but nothing extraordinary. There were a few really good dishes and a few meh dishes.

Where things really fell apart was the cocktails. Anything that was supposed to be spirit forward was way too watery and flavourless. It seemed like they could only really execute on the sweet sugary drinks, which were good. However, when you charge $20+ for a cocktail, it has to be perfect, and these were far from it.

The vibes of the place were pretty cool, but we felt like there wasn’t really a solid theme.

One other thing to mention is that the seating we were given was quite uncomfortable. The chairs were awkward and the table left you no room to put your feet anywhere.

Normally, I would not complain, however, I walked into your restaurant a bit early and was unwelcome by your server. I’ve never been as insulted in my life when I gone to any bar or restaurant. For your information, I am in the service industry in owning hotels And buildings across the world. This was the worst welcome I’ve ever had. I hope you’re not offended however, if you’re in the service industry, you need to know how your establishment operates.

We made a reservation for the day before Thanksgiving on the phone a week in advance. The day we went, the restaurant was not open. It is understandable if the restaurant wants to close for the holiday, but we received no callback indicating that they will be closed. Very disappointing experience.

The music and atmosphere were great, so we had high hopes walking in. However, the house cocktails were either really hard to drink or so syrupy sweet. The Honey, Don’t drink was ok. The Welcome to the Jungle dish was terrible, and it took a while to get our server’s attention after being seated and throughout the course of our meal. Maybe we had all new servers that night. I would not recommend this place.

Drove past this place and the brass cobra door handle, the chic branding and lush greenery in the windows caught my eye. Finally made it in there on a Wednesday evening in September and we’re so glad we did! Three of us split a tidy little smorgasbord - loved the tuna tartare the most although everything was tasty. My sister loved the Hokkaido scallop. Our drinks were delicious, inventive and beautifully presented - definitely recommend the Honey Don’t, a gin cocktail featuring honeydew melon
Liqueur, and Rice Rice Baby which tastes like if rice pudding was a delightfully smooth drink. I forget what the liquor was in that one but I’ll definitely order it again. There is live music on Wednesdays by a duo called Phoenix & Lauren which was super mellow and groovy. Perfect mood.

This is a sexy date spot but also a great place to host a celebration, meet a friend for drinks & nibbles or bring visitors. It’s an
elevated experience so be ready to spend as one does to enjoy taste and elegance while out on the town. Servers were knowledgeable and full of excellent recommendations.
