My friend is from Indonesia and neither one of us really enjoyed the food. They're trying to be too creative and each dish has a bitter flavor that neither one of us were used to.

I regret to say that my experience at this restaurant was far from satisfactory. Despite having high expectations for celebrating my birthday there with friends, our evening was marred by numerous disappointments.Firstly, the process of making a reservation was unnecessarily complicated. While one staff member, a lady, claimed it wasn't possible, just 5 minutes later, another person on the phone miraculously found space for us. This lack of consistency was off-putting from the start. On the day of the celebration, few hours before our reservation, I received an unexpected call demanding that each person spend a minimum of $50, a rule that hadn't been mentioned during the reservation process. Though they eventually waived this requirement, it left a sour taste in my mouth. The promise of "elevated Indonesian food" fell short of expectations. Portions were small, prices were inflated, and the quality was inconsistent. The beef tartare was particularly disappointing, and the desserts were frankly the worst I've ever had.To add insult to injury, the restaurant ran out of both the wine I was enjoying and one of the dessert options. This is unacceptable for any establishment, let alone one claiming to offer an "elevated" dining experience.Service was equally lackluster. Our waiter suggested sharing plates, yet the portions were so tiny that even one person couldn't enjoy them fully. Furthermore, he seemed perpetually absent, leaving us to hunt him down whenever we needed assistance.Perhaps most disappointing was the live music, which was advertised as a highlight of the evening. However, the DJ played for only a fraction of the promised time, depriving us of the opportunity to dance and adding to our overall dissatisfaction. He played maybe an hour max 2.In conclusion, my birthday experience at this restaurant was anything but "elevated." I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

The atmosphere and ambiance was beautiful, fun and something different. Definitely worth a visit once to see what it is about. The food was mediocre. I ordered pork belly and it was over cooked. Portions are small and the food was really salty. Prices are mid to high range. I do not think I will go back and I would not recommend this place to others but glad I went to see what it was about.

Food was pretty good, but our server had a little attitude. He tried to clear our table and bring the bill when there was still food on our plates.

Their reservation system sucks. They have open reservations on open table but when you go they don’t have a table to give. Their systems are not synced. Even after waiting in line for over an hour they do not give a table. The staff is super rude.

Happened to pass a kitchen staffer from this venue that was taking a leak out back. He then proceeded to finish his smoke with a colleague. I hope homie washed his hands!

Looks pretty in photos but the vibe IRL doesn’t live up to it.

Great cocktails. Food was overall quite good - really liked the laksa bombs and the chicken dinner. The wait time between courses was incredibly inconsistent and it was a good 20-25 minutes between our last two courses, which soured the experience a little. Would definitely give it another shot though!

The food was fairly expensive which I'm usually okay with if the flavours or quantity is interesting. I tried quite a few things and honestly only the octopus might have been worth it. There's too much energy wasted in the presentation but the taste combinations weren't working too often and some dishes were bland. The service went from being a bit much to being hard to find. I like the plant for the deco but there are lots of elements that don't fit well together. It's fusion food but it feels like things are clashing a bit at the moment. The pictures on Google look great. I wish I could have tried some of those dishes but they changed the menu, presentation and quantity since then for some dishes. It was okay but I left hungry and spent more than I would have hoped.

Surprised how this restaurant has such good reviews. The decor and ambience was lovely with a cool aesthetic other than the randomness of the dj.HOWEVER, the food was extremely disappointing. We started with the waygu nigiri, fortunately they were delicious, so we had high expectations. Next came the dumplings in laksa. The dish came out stone cold, I literally asked the waiter if it was supposed to be that way. The broth was incredibly oily and tasted more of butter than of actual flavour. The dumplings themselves were fine. We also got the bone marrow which was blood red in the middle (not exaggerating I promise), the chefs had obviously skipped the important step of soaking the marrow before cooking. This was sad as the food sounds really good when you read the menu; good ideas but bad in application. In the end our server was nice and apologetic about everything. Everything except the waygu was comp’d, which we are okay with and we were offered free desert which we declined. It was really disappointing because my best friend and I had heard really good things about this place.
