Was walking by and happened to see their menu on the window. Full standard breakfast plate for about $10 I thought was a really good deal.
The potatoes were nice and crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Eggs were perfectly over-easy (as I had ordered) and seasoned wonderfully.
I forgot to take a photo because it was so good looking I just ate it right away.

Just had the most bizarre experience at this café. Early morning around 8:30 AM I’m looking for a cuppa coffee and may be a little breakfast. I have my own personal cup with me. On one corner is a well-known coffee chain that makes good coffee and has good baked goods. but just up the street I noticed this independent little coffee shop called the K Café. only one other person is in there so that’s a little disquieting, but I do like to support independent businesses so I thought I would support them. I really wasn’t expecting a decent cup of coffee, but I thought a little sacrifice to support an independent business as a good idea. so I order my coffee in my personal cup. The pleasant quiet and rather timid woman cashier asked me if it’s to go. I was a bit puzzled because clearly it’s Go. It’s my own personal cup. She gives me my coffee and I have a few minutes and I thought I would check my emails on my phone. although the place is a little rundown and the seats are not too inviting I thought I would stay and check my emails here in large part because I wanted to support the business. My thinking was if there’s a body sitting in here maybe other potential customers will come in. That was honestly my thinking. Perhaps misplaced. But well motivated. As soon as I pull out the chair to sit down, the male Korean owner says to me rather abruptly “Go” and waves his hand as if to usher me out the door. I was a bit shocked that I said that I was just going to have coffee. He said you ordered a coffee to go. I was still pretty confused. I said why can’t I just sit here for a few minutes. He said no “That’s my policy”. I said him in a polite way I’m a bit surprised. I thought I was doing him a favour by sitting here and attracting business. So I left. And there was still only one other person sitting in the restaurant. Otherwise completely empty. A passerby might think it was not even open. So I was left with a thought that here is a angry old man used to being the patriarch and wants to bully for bully sake, even though it’s against his own business interests. and my well intentioned “sacrifice“ to go to this little side café backfired on me. Although I have to say the coffee, the lady made me was pretty good.

Hidden Gem, we love their homemade Korean dishes on the menu. And the price is great. Bang for your buck.
Mom and pop operation. Definitely my go to for a quick Korean bulgogi or bibimbap.
Their chicken cheddar BLT ain't too shabby either.

discovered this cute little shop run by a lovely couple thanks to my hair appointment next door. It’s the kind of mom-and-pop shop I wish we had more of around here. The cappuccino was great, and I’ll definitely come back next time to try their food!

This very unassuming resto/cafe near VGH is a must try if you want no nonsense korean meals and coffee! The price point of their delicious rice meals is very afforable compared to Vancouver prices and serving size! Cofffee is perfectly blended too. The old couple who serve are very sweet and attentive. They don't even have tip options during payment, unlike other restos that are egregious, so I somewhat felt bad by not able to give a tip for their good food and service. I promise to tip in cash next time!

The owner kicked me out after I had paid for my drink because I asked for drink to go. I was going to leave in 5 min because of a hair appointment. There were 2 other women in the store who also had to go drinks that were seated. And half the cafe was empty.
If I could give zero stars I would. Lived in Vancouver my whole life and this is the first time I was kicked out of a cafe after ordering.

This place makes the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had- and it’s super affordable too by Vancouver standards. Get the breakfast bagel on an everything bagel - it comes with cheese, egg, the freshest avocados, and tomato (although I don’t like tomato so I get mine without) and it is SO good. I’ve told all my friends who work at the hospital to try it. I’m telling you too. Give it a try. (Note not available from 12-1pm).

The friendliest and kindest staff, delicious food with excellent value (the Bimimbap bowl is so nourishing and filling for under $13). Highly recommend this unassuming gem of a place.

This location has no business and no customers. I ordered a soup and was told i cant dine in and have to leave as it is for those who ordered food. So what? Soup is not from your menu is what you are telling me? You have no customers and i cant sit down and drink your soup. You are surrounded by people who work in the essential service/health field. Do not recommend if u r looking for just a quick bite or drink

Cozy, independent cafe off of Broadway. I’ll definitely come here instead of Blenz or Elysian next time, and I encourage others to do the same! Friendly service and great coffee ?
