Kafka’s is hands down one of the best coffee spots in town! Their matcha is top-tier—smooth, perfectly balanced, and never too bitter. The pastries? Absolutely delicious, always fresh, and the perfect complement to their drinks. But the real star for me is their White Lavender Mocha—it’s pure perfection in a cup! The floral notes of lavender blend beautifully with the rich, creamy white chocolate, making every sip an absolute treat. I go back for it every time, and it never disappoints. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Highly recommend Kafka’s for anyone who loves high-quality drinks and a cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait for my next visit!

I had the most wonderful experience at this coffe The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and perfect for enjoying a beautifully crafted drink. I ordered a matcha roasted marshmallow , and it was a true work of art not just in presentation but in taste as well. The balance of flavors was spot-on

A special shoutout to the barista with curly hair, Elof (or Ilof), who truly elevated the experience. Her attention to detail, from the stunning latte art to the perfectly toasted marshmallows, was impressive. You can tell she put real passion into their craft, making each cup feel like a masterpiece.

If you’re looking for a place that serves not just drinks but an experience, this is it! Highly recommend stopping by.

Sure it’s expensive, but the coffee is great and the baked goods are excelsior … You get the same sort of service that you get from any place like this these days generally.

I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee, it was too bitter for my taste - but have given 4 stars for the deliciously fresh sourdough loaf and cheese scone! The bread loaf was huge and lasted us for days - would definitely repurchase.

Lots of space inside and outside. The upstairs is small and is filled with students on laptops. The coffee I had was fine, but the plain croissant was excellent. Crispy and flaky and a little doughy in the centre.

Spacious and cozy environment. I ordered a Spanish latte and honestly, I don’t remember the last time I had a Spanish latte that bad… :( came to do work and the wifi was extremely spotty and inconsistent. I switched spots upstairs to downstairs to see if it would help but unfortunately it made no difference. Not a great cafe to do work at. Definitely save yourself the time and choose a different cafe IF you’re going to do work and need wifi.

I have always loved coffee from Kafka’s. the boldness of the espresso on the cortado was good enough to make me feel energized. It had enough creaminess, nice and balanced. The froth was not overwhelming, and the latte art added to the visual appeal. It just goes to show that they not only have good coffee beans but the barista herself is fantastic! Baked goods here has always been great. Definitely one of my top 5 cafes in Vancouver! ?

I stopped by Kafka’s and was blown away by how delicious everything was! Their pumpkin muffin had the perfect balance of spice and sweetness, with crunchy pumpkin seeds and just the right amount of sugar crystals on top. I also tried the CPP Yeah You Know Me sandwich, and it was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients that made every bite a treat. To top it all off, their decaf pumpkin spice latte was smooth, creamy, and just the cozy fall drink I needed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and their selection of freshly baked goods is incredible. If you're in Vancouver and looking for a great cafe experience, Kafka's should definitely be at the top of your list!

Cool little spot with the most delicious breakfast cookies! The barista was extra chatty and friendly while waiting for my flat white- such a nice way to start my day!
The coffee was good- strong drip coffee, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Parking: A few free 30 min spots for Kafka customers. Plenty of paid parking right in front as well
