Food was really amazing !! Waitress was awesome, beautiful smile! 😊
IYKYK! This place is a gem of a sushi restaurant. High quality fish that keeps me going back!
Real Japanese sushi. Super fresh and real taste of original Japanese Suahi. Must try
This is one of the few places in Vancouver where you can enjoy great food at very reasonable prices, despite the high cost of living. Chef Tom is not only friendly but also highly professional. He has been making sushi in Vancouver for many years and has also trained at a long-established sushi restaurant in Japan. It’s a family-run business, and now his son is also training to become a sushi chef. This restaurant has a deep understanding of Japanese food culture. You can enjoy your meal while chatting with him at the counter or relax at a table—either way is great. I really like this place.
A true gem - chef's bright smile welcoming us was only a fitting intro to the amazing food - loved all we got, the rolls, sashimi and unagi
Amazing sushi and the most lovely staff!! 5 stars only because we couldn’t give it 6 ❤️
My sisters and I spent about an hour searching for the right sushi place to go to while in Vancouver. Kaide was exactly the vibe we were looking for. A cozy family feel where the hosts were super friendly and sweet each time someone walked in the door. The music was perfect and then of course the sushi was super tasty! The sashimi was buttery, the rice perfect, and we had to order the mango salmon rolls a second time. Definitely recommend.
Good service. Fresh sashimi. I’ll go again.
Sashimi is very fresh. Service is good. Highly recommend!
This place has fresh fish and a good selection of menu items (they don't have cooked items like teriyaki beef, upon, etc). Portion size is reasonable, though pushing the price barrier a bit. It has a homey feel to it being family owned. They acknowledge your coming and going. You can find 2 hour free street parking by walking a short distance. #sushiVancouver

A long standing sushi restaurant in Yaletown and for good treason! The seafood was fresh and rolls were all super unique!
Ume - my fav roll of the night. I loved how unique the flavours were with the addition of the pickles and plum
Diablo - classic and fresh spicy tuna roll
Kaide - lots of seafood on the inside, wished there was a bit more cream cheese because I almost forgot it was supposed to have any
Big bang - another fav of the night! The addition of the lemon and crunchy bits made it a full flavour experience
Maple - I'm used to BC rolls but never had a BBQ tuna roll before! Definitely a good twist of a classic
If you're looking for a place with tempura and teriyaki, this is not the place for you. Expect fresh seafood, appetizers and sushi.
The tuna was great. Especially the belly. The salmon was a bit meh.
Great food reasonable prices
The food was delicious, we will be back.
