Good sushi deals, a go to for take out! #ContestEntry
Service was nice and the owner (or waitress) seemed lovely. Sashimi was good, quality of the fish was worth it. The rest of the sushi was not up to par with sushi expectations in Vancouver. Flavor was bland and combinations were strange.
This place is a hidden gem! I just tried their Manhattan sushi and Kaide BC sushi. Both were amazing. The staff were very kind and the decoration was cute!

Love this place, I've been coming for 8 years. Quality level is one of the highest consistency I've seen in Vancouver! The owner really cares about the quality levels of the fish / service / sushi on the table.

This place is a hidden gem in Yaletown that deserves much more attention. Owned and operated by Japanese chefs, it offers an authentic experience, with the lunch combo D standing out for its exceptional value, quality, and portion size. The akadashi miso soup, made Nagoya-style, is a definite highlight.
While the music and interior design could be improved, the real challenge is the location—if Kaide were in a spot with more foot traffic, it would undoubtedly thrive. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Always the best place to go in the city. Some of their dishes are the most unique in Vancouver. Most friendliest, warm and inviting staff. Highly recommended!!

Visited twice within 2 weeks.
Tried a few combos, overall food ingredients were nice & fresh.
Horenso Gomaae, Unagi Don, Spicy Tuna Sashimi, Assorted Nigiri, Assorted Rolls.... all were very tasty.
Miso soup was good at the first visit. It was too salty at the second time (a bit disappointed).
There was quite a strong fishy smell when we stepped in the restaurant (the ventilation wasn't very good). Windows were not very clean. There were flies flying around that really annoyed us. One fly even landed on my almost finished Unagi Don...
Service was attentive, especially from the owner (Master Chef). He was very friendly & courteous.
If the ventilation is better (air-conditioned) & the entrance door can be kept closed to prevent flies from getting into the food, this restaurant is worth to visit.
