Servers were kinda rude. We first ordered 5 sandwiches (one was a chicken melt we ordered by mistake) and then added one extra schnitzel. There’s only 3 servers preparing the sandwiches at a time, and they haven’t even started on the extra chicken melt (which came out last) - so it could have easily been refunded or cancelled. But instead, the servers started whispering among themselves behind the counter, even yelled at us “No, you ordered two chicken melts!” and making it seem like we caused the confusion.
Rudeness aside, the sandwiches were good. Ingredients are fresh.
Not sure if we’ll be back though because of that interaction with the servers. ??

If this place was once legit, it isn’t really anymore. It wasn’t really authentic unfortunately and other review photos were different than what we saw. None of the pretzels hanging had salt on them and they looked sad. We had the double smoked sausage on a bun, the bun was soft but not typical. The sauerkraut was good ? maybe because it was a Sunday and it was super busy the quality changed. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t live up to the hype and my German fiance wasn’t impressed.

Best chicken caesar wrap I think I've ever had! Staff taking my order were friendly and my food was ready quickly, the pickles on the side were the perfect touch!

I remember eating perrogi on Granville Island a long time ago when I was a student. While I was visiting Granville Island a while ago, I saw the same menu and was curious so I ordered it and ate it. How old is this store? I don't remember what it used to taste like, but both the furrogi and schnitzel were delicious. Additionally, the server was really friendly.

Extremely friendly service, large selection of eats (all reasonably priced!) The only negative is it’s only located on Granville Island, but other than that I highly recommend this place!
Another one of our go-to spots for lunch in the market. Hard to find a good place for pierogies in Vancouver.
A bit touristy here (and prices reflect that through all the food stalls here). Difficult to find seating inside the market during peak tourist hours.

I had a Schnitzel Sandwich for lunch on July 28 and I consumed it outside on the patio tables. I felt progressively worse that day with a bloated and heavy feeling in my stomach, at 12 o’clock midnight I started vomiting violently like I have never vomited before. FOOD poisoning. Sandwich $11 medical attention $1000 for out of province tourist. I always avoid street food vendors because of sanitation issues but now I need to avoid food market vendors too.

I was craving a sandwich and this place did not disappoint. I was first impressed by how big the schnitzel was! I could only eat half along with a few bites of the potato salad and I was full. So I was happy to have leftovers. The wait in the line was a bit long but it was worth it based on the amount of food I got for what I paid and the tastes!! Service was good as well, even with it being so busy the staff was still friendly and pleasant to interact with. I would come again to the try their pergioes!
