The dim sum at Kam Wai is definitely cheap compared to other place. I find some of the food are just average tasting like the Pork Siu Mai, Ha Gow & Pork Beancurd Roll.
Other items like the Turnip Cakes & Salted Custard Lava Bun were amazing. The BBQ Pork Bun & Jumbo Deluxe is another must order.
There’s also a 10% discount over a certain frozen dim sum price. I just forgot what the limit was for the discount.
Surprisingly tasty frozen dimsum! Bought Siu Mai, Har gao, Chicken feet, Sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves, beef balls and bead curd wrapped pork. My favourite was the chicken feet and sticky rice, it was really good, restaurant quality. The sticky rice had a good amount of meat and sausage, more than in restaurants. Highly recommend this place for frozen dimsum. The Har Gao was ok, skin was thick.
It's like the little ceasers of dim sum. Cheap and hot and ready. Similarly don't expect the greatest dim sum, but if you want a snack or a cheap lunch it's hard to go wrong here.
Great deal for the quality!
I got 4 siu mais for 4 dollars (its a combo) and 1 bao for 2 dollars. Great price, amazing taste, my favorite place for siu mais!
The winning cooked combo each time for me is one BBQ pork steam bun, 4x Pork Siu Mai, and 3x Beef Meatball for the unbeatable price of $12, served with a delicious fresh chili sauce.
Excellent food at excellent prices.
Good deal for cheap eats. Bought some frozen dim sum to go as well. Reasonably priced and enjoyed ourselves here. Will be back to visit again. Thank you!
They offer very affordable, quick ready made and frozen dimsum, helping seniors get an affordable meal. Props to them
Just buy the frozen dimsum, go home, and cook it yourself. It will be better than the ready ones sold in the store. Can tell from the filling and flavor that it's quality stuff, if only the final cooking was better. Steam items were overcooked, too soggy and falling apart, potstickers are undercooked, the skin is still raw and chewy without crispy bottoms like it should.

Had a small bite to eat here, tasty food friendly staff
Their jumbo suimai are delicious and worth the price!
I usually get the frozen wontons and save them for a rainy day. I like these more than the brand-name ones, and it would take quite a bit more effort to make them by myself.
It was my first visit and it was not that great than I expected sadly hagau was not juicy and dumpling skin was pretty thick
overall it’s great price but i’d rather go other places personally
The food is authentic, delicious and filling. Prices are good as well!
