I ordered a red bean bun, but it had absolutely no flavor. I can get a better one at TNT for a lower price. I’ve never had red bean buns like the ones from this place. even the bun itself was tasteless, with no hint of sweetness.
We came to check out this place after visiting the Japanese market next door.
This bakery was much bigger than expected once we entered. It was a cozy place with some large tables in the middle.
We ordered two mini mochi bites, one matcha and one sesame. They were both very good, chewy but not too sweet. Coffee was also good. There were more items we wanted to try, unfortunately we were full from our lunch just across the street.
Would love to come back again.

Great service and food but the cold harsh fluorescent lighting is really throwing my friends and I off, feels like a dentist office

Lovely Japanese bakery. We tried a few of the melon buns and few other things. Enjoyed it all. I wanted to try other things but couldn't eat that much so will have to be back again to do so next time.

Kanadell Japanese Bakery was kawaii and delicious! I enjoyed their adorable food and drinks, which were as tasty as how the cute these guys look. I usually don’t like Nanaimo bars because they’re too sweet, but theirs was an exception—perfectly balanced and enjoyable. Good price too.
I would recommend you to give it a try! ??

Very good chicken curry bun idk about anything else because didn't try
perhaps i shall return to taste test
If I can give 0 stars I would. I ordered a sandwich they said it would take 20 minutes and I said I’m okay with waiting I waited over 30 minutes and asked where it is. They never even put my order through. Just wasted my time because of incompetent workers.

Been many times over the past few years, love the food. However... The last month or so, there has been some questionable food handling when packaging items for takeout. Pre-packaged items are being placed into the same bag as non pre-packaged, which introduces cross contamination / food safety issues. This didn't used to be a problem it's only recently we've noticed this. So while the food is great, the food handling lately does not befit such a quality establishment.
Good service, friendly staffs, and delicious food going there is very tempting it makes you want to eat everything that they have for sale and it feels like you are in Family Mart.

Pastries and bread are all excellent and high quality. Parking wasn’t the easiest though.

I came here for fresh melonpan and was very impressed. I would definitely come back when I’m in the area again.
Staff were friendly, there were a few spots to sit and there was a toilet for customers.

We picked up our strawberry shortcake, ichigo daifuku and a few other bakery goods. There was slight confusion during pick-up but thank you for making it right. We enjoyed the mini treats, esp during our birthday celebration yesterday. The egg, pork and ebi sandos were delicious as well. The strawberry shortcake was yummy!
