This is a very good Japanese bakery. They make bread light fluffy Japanese style. The day old breads are BOGO but I like aged bread better than freshly baked so it's perfect for me. They also have onigiri after 11AM. I had the macha yuzu bun and pizza bun, oops too good ate both immediately rather than waiting.

Their Japanese curry bun is the best, eat it warm! The crust is crunchy and airy, the filling is very flavourful, I don’t think there’s any other place in Vancouver that does it like this or as good.
Houjicha latte is worth it — I got it to go and it was perfect at the 25% sweet 😋
I never leave here without getting a melon pan or two.

Super cute little bakery and Japanese product store next door. We had already eaten lunch so we only bought some buns with Nutella filling, super fluffy and yummy. But I would buy the curry puff next time too as it looked like a good size and flakes.

We visited the other day and ordered a bunch of pasties to share. The service seemed cold with them dumping our order onto a tray. When we let them know we are having the food for here, the staff still didnt warm up our food. We ended up having cold takoyaki and curry pan in the store. Extremely disappointed as we’d spent $50 on the pastries and couldn’t ask them to warm it up for us as we’d already bite into it.

Ordered the Deep fried Beef bun on delivery and a garlic twist cheesy.
Giving 5 stars for that. Will visit and review again ☺️

The Chicken Karaage Sando was pretty good. Soft warm fluffy bun with tender crunchy chicken, a bit of veggies, and mayo.

Not friendly service. We walked in despite being seen, weren’t greeted, so, we just left.

Everything about bakery is perfectly, except the drink. I pay 6.75$ for yuzu lemonade soda plus tax, but the cup is so small LOL it's not even full cup 😂.
I love the bear animal breads! It’s so cute! My favourite part is the chocolate filling inside, I reheated it a bit before I ate, the chocolate filling inside just like the yummy lava😍😍
The hojicha soft cookie was delicious too. The flavour of tea is strong (I love strong tea flavour), the point is it isn’t too sweet👍🏻
This is my favourite bakery in Vancouver😍😍

There’s nothing quite like a hot beef curry pan to warm you up on a rainy Vancouver day, especially if you’re in a rush and looking for a quick lunch fix.
The savoury curry inside reminds me of curry from a mom and pop curry shop you’d find in Japan. But I do wish there were more curry inside the bread, especially for something that costs $6. You’d only come across the bulk of the curry when you get to the bottom of the bread.
Convenient location though, right across from the bus loop, and also next to a Japanese mart if you’re buying some extra items. There is also a sitting area where you can eat your purchases.
