Great experience. Great waitress although I don't recall her name (she shared she was born in Russia) she was interactive and very nice to my wife and I. Drinks were great too- hats off the head bartender that evening.
Very nice lounge with quite a variety of seating styles. Service was excellent - friendly, knowledgable and relaxed with no pretense. Music was provided by a DJ playing a somewhat different but odd variety of repetitive and uninspiring downbeat tunes that were overall a little loud for my liking. Nice brunch menu with most bases covered at a slightly high but not crazy price point. Had a French style omelette that was delicious, filled with Gruyère cheese and perfectly diced ham cubes. It came with 2 large slices of toast (one of which was barely toasted), hard butter on the side, jam and peanut butter, each in their own ceramic dish. Sharing the plate with these was 2 nicely roasted tomatoes, pan fried potatoes and onion, with yellow and red pepper pieces and my side of bacon (which was cooked enough but not crispy). I am not sure why the toast was not on a separate plate with the condiments. So simple instead of over-crowded plating. Overall, darned tasty and went well with a zero % alcohol Guinness. The service level was excellent and thus I shall return when I am in the area.
I have been to Karma lounge before and i have always had a very good time. I recommended it to my new group of girls and convinced them to book it for our first ever dinner together. When we entered and they saw the place, they loved everything about the place. The vibe, the music 👍and the food was delicious.
Now the worst part was the service. Our server didn’t seem interested in doing her job at all. And on top of that she went to her coworkers and was talking about us girls to her, and how do i know that, she literally pointed at us and showed her coworker where we were sitting. She also kept giving us side-eye. It made my girlfriends very uncomfortable and they were not enjoying at all. I felt bad because I recommended this place. Her name was Shayla, our first server.
Only one suggestion, if you don’t know how to provide good customer service, just choose something else as a profession. Don’t ruin someone’s day, if you cant make it better.
I am in customer service myself and a big believer that good service should be delivered and received.

Amazing place to hang out with friends. Service was exceptional, food delicious, great variety of cocktails, live DJ with music where noise levels are perfect to enjoy but still not so loud that you have to shout at each other to hear. Staff are so friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended!
My first time trying out Karma Lounge over the weekend. Super easy to get to - I took transit so it was an easy walk from burrard skytrain station.
Overall, it was a beautiful and clean restaurant. The vibe felt like a modern fine dining restaurant with a twist (except the twist was it had club like vibes - young crowd, DJ, etc).
Great service which was wonderful. The food was delicious. I tried the Chinook Salmon. I feel like it could do with a bit of a sauce or some extra flavour but other than that, I really enjoyed it.

Horrible loud club music at five in the evening. It is impossible to speak and hear the interlocutor. I wanted to run away and never return to this place.

The $18 glass of wine they served me was room temperature. The ambiance is nice.
As someone who has worked in the service industry for many years and never leaves reviews, I felt it was necessary for this place as it was the WORST experience ever.
Firstly, it was my birthday and I made a reservation for 12 people a week prior. I even called the day of to confirm, which was also a bad experience in itself. I get there with some of my party and for 15 minutes the hostesses acted like they had no idea what was happening as we stood there. We finally get sat at a table with SEVEN seats. My reservation is for 12. I told the staff THREE times that if they cannot move my table to something bigger I need more chairs. To the point where my party of 12 all arrived and people were standing. I even went up myself to ask for more chairs saying, “its just embarrassing as I invited 12 people and now half of them are standing for my birthday.”
The table we were sat at also was sticky and had NOT been cleaned. Maybe don’t accept reservations for 12 people if the “biggest” table you have suits 6.
Secondly, we came for dinner at 7pm and ended up walking out at 8pm without eating and making a dinner reservation elsewhere. The service was insanely slow and the table could maybe accommodate a dinner for 6 people, so we had no choice but to leave.
Yep, we came their for a birthday dinner reservation and left without having dinner!
Thirdly, despite them not even having the reservation set up for us, as we were being sat, we were told “we need the table back by 9.” I’m sorry but what? We were standing there waiting for our reservation for almost 15 minutes, it was 7:30 pm, no one told me about any time limit for tables the entire week before I booked. All of a sudden as we are being SAT we are told this information and when we would have to be “out” an hour and some odd minutes later?
It was all a super unprofessional experience and we left after a round of drinks that took 1 hour to be served to everyone.
I honestly felt SO embarrassed as my party was uncomfortable, annoyed, and talking bad about how things were going down. It was a birthday dinner to which we didn’t even have dinner, had to get up and leave, and go elsewhere.
COMPLETELY put a damper on the night and it was hard to enjoy when so much from the establishment was going on, to where we had to scramble to find another place as this “reservation” was not reliable.
If you book a reservation and want it accommodated and actually confirmed do not go here. I even thought at one point they had no idea we were coming and was going to tell us we had to leave all together.

Very nice atmosphere, nice lighting, service and food were great! Only area of improvement is that it's quite loud even in early evening time.
Food and room are always good. Weekday lunch staff are not as attentive or engaged as weekend or evening crews.
Bria is an amazing server and is so nice!!

I've been here twice, and the service is always sooooo slow. My waitress even lacked knowledge of what was on the drink menu. Otherwise, nice vibe. Live DJ. Drinks are great, but the presentation lacks consistency. So either it depends on the barrender if he remembers to add garnish or not. Kinda surprised to see patrons vaping indoors. Equally odd is guests of the hotel walking through with children and animals. Haven't had food here.
Parking: Feom what I saw, unless maybe a guest, parking ia on the street and it's Vancouver. Od course you pay
Kid-friendliness: No, it's a lounge
Wheelchair accessibility: Uh- maybe feom elevators jnside the hotel.
