I have not had much experience with Persian Cuisine and I’m glad to have tried Khaghan as their delicious rice, tender meat and delicious appetizer definitely won me over. The amount of food is also incredibly filling. The atmosphere was great with nice decors and music. Our server was very attentive and nice!

I ordered takeout Kabab Koobideh, but when I opened the package, I noticed there were no utensils included, only the Koobideh. Please make sure to include utensils with future orders. Thank you.

Our server Sahel was very helpful! We had the Loghme and the Boneless Chicken kebab. Both were amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I am still in shock by the horrible service at this place. I invited a few of my Canadian coworkers to Khaghan/downtown. One of them is vegan, so I called the day before and asked if they have any vegan options on the menu. They said they have special vegan stew (Fesenjoon) as well as the regular veggie kebab. When we got there, the only server was on the phone for over 20 minutes, she eventually showed up and we asked about the vegan food, she said they had none!! I was SO EMBARRASSED. I asked for another appetizer which I thought was vegan. She said there was some yogurt blended in & asked me to tell my coworker that there is no dairy in it, she clearly wanted me to lie, since we were speaking Farsi!!! My other Iranian friend & I had to go to the bar a few times to get plates & napkin. They were so short staffed that us out of embarrassment had to serve our Canadian friends ourselves. Eventually we fed the vegan person with rice and salad!!! We basically cleaned up the tables ourselves, since nobody we showing up. Whatever we ordered from the desert menu, they were ran out of!! On top of all they didn't have any Tahdig (the most famous crispy rice only available at the Persian restaurants). I am certain that I don't remember all the terrible things happened that night. I left no tip just to show our frustration & discontent. Hope they noticed and do something about it.
