I ordered online and went to pick it up, but the customer service was lacking. The waitress was rude when asking for my order, had no greeting when I arrived, and didn’t say thank you afterward. It’s important that your staff is trained to be polite and approachable, especially in customer service roles. I would recommend hiring individuals who are better suited for this kind of position.

Short staffed, there was only one waitress running around this evening. She was rude gave me the "wait a minute" finger to our faces without speaking and ran off to deliver food. She was not friendly and seemed like she was rushing us. Would have ordered more food but we did not appreciate her trash service. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Loved the food but the service was awful, the waitress barely paid attention to our table and when she did she was really rude

Lunch box was delicious and came with a tasty miso soup that's not too salty.

The food was fine. I ordered chicken udon and some edamame but I definitely have had better food. But what really irritated me is the restaurant’s waitress. Let the customer decide if they want to tip and how much they want to tip. This woman stood on my head to tip her. I think that was really rude and not at a great way to talk to a customer.

**1 Star**
**Disastrous Sushi Night**
I visited Kiku Sushi with high expectations, but left utterly disappointed.
**Substandard Sushi:**
* The sushi rice was mushy and bland.
* The fish was dry and flavorless.
* The rolls fell apart with every bite.
**Unhygienic Conditions:**
* The restaurant was dimly lit and felt unkempt.
* The tables were sticky and the floors were littered with food debris.
* The sushi chef sneezed into his hands without washing them.
**Rude Service:**
* The staff was aloof and dismissive.
* I had to wait over an hour for my order, which arrived cold and incorrect.
* When I complained, I was met with condescension and indifference.
**Pricey for Mediocrity:**
* The prices were exorbitant for the poor quality of food and service provided.
* I left feeling ripped off.
**Hygiene Concerns:**
* I experienced severe stomach cramps after eating at this establishment.
* I strongly suspect that the unhygienic conditions contributed to my illness.
**Avoidance Advised:**
* I strongly recommend avoiding Kiku Sushi.
* There are many better sushi options in Vancouver that provide a safe and enjoyable dining experience.

Very well and tasty food. Oyster Motoyaki is very delicious, spicy tuna also well prepared. Chicken teriyaki is bit soggy due too much souce, otherwise is also good teriyaki. breaded scallops has powerful tasty, they ace it. Well done chef!!

Great value, specially for lunch. My go-to place for a quick bite on a lazy day.
Fast, fresh & fabulous. Great service and food at reasonable price, incredibly fast. What's not to love?

Just awful. Sashimi was soft and mealy - clearly had been frozen and thawed several times. I couldn't help but gag and try to keep my composure out of respect for the diners at the 2 other tables that were occupied at peak dinner hour. The server had the gall to say "if the fish isn't fresh, let us know" - as if it's my fault and they don't know they are serving substandard fish (if they truly don't know, they should not be open).
I should have followed the rule and avoided a sushi restaurant with few customers. You should remember this rule and avoid this place.
Stopped in for a quiet dinner on a Monday night.
There was only 2 other tables full when I was there, but a lot of take out being picked up.
Being from Alberta, I have a high standard of sushi for the coast and they did not disappoint.
I had the sashimi bento. It came with miso soup, sunomono and the bento itself.
There was enough food for 2 full meals.
The fish was fresh and was well presented.
The decor was cute, dishes were all thoughtfully selected, and the service was friendly.
I would come here for a lunch or with others to share dinner.
