Nigiri sushi not bad. Fish is fresh, tasty. Other dishes not as good. Katsu don: Huge serving of deep fried pork. But. Pork was dry. Yakisoba: Same, beef was dry, and noodles a tad oily.
Review:
This place offers just two types of ramen—miso and tonkotsu. It’s the hottest broth I’ve had in Vancouver, which was a treat on a chilly early winter day, leaving me happily warmed up. Maybe because of the high temperature, or perhaps another reason, they only allow sushi for takeout; you can’t order a ramen to go. And also the price is good too.
Had a group of old friends meet up here for lunch yesterday. We didn’t make reservations but showed up at opening time and were seated immediately. It’s airy inside and there is a free parking lot next to it. We all ordered noodle soup dishes and everyone loved it. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.
