Outstanding service and even better food, I will be dreaming about the mushroom dish with basil and tofu until my next visit. Thank you for a great dining experience!
Favourite Thai restaurant so far. Food is absolutely delicious, I really enjoyed the Laab wings and the Tom Yum was outstanding. Great service and ambiance as well. Look forward to coming back to trying out more dishes!
Delicious food, friendly food runners, but overall, not a great dining experience. We were there to celebrate my daughter's completion of second year at UBC. Cocktails did not arrive until we were nearly done with the starters, then a long pause before our main (pad thai) arrived. And then at the end of the meal, we were presented with the bill without anyone asking if we might like dessert.
Friendly staff, delicious food, and comfortable ambience . Loved the creative decisions that were portioned right.
Exceptional flavours! One of the best experiences in the YVR dining scene and without a doubt worthy of the Michelin recommendation (many aren't in this city!)
Another amazing meal at Song! We ordered the wings, pomelo salad, taro spring rolls, shrimp pad Thai, curry beef! Every dish was delicious and beautiful! Can't wait till next time!
Food was very good. We ordered a pad thai and a fried seafood curry. Both were tasty. The pad thai was a bit better than many I've had, which were usually too sweet for me. This one was just right. Could use more roasted chopped peanuts (served on the side). The curry was well balanced. My only complaint was that the squid was a bit tough. The large shrimps were the best. The Thai green peppercorn added bursts of heat once chewed-on. I found the price too much for some dishes: $50 for Tom Yum soup and $40 for the crab fried rice?! A soup is not a main course and should have different sizes & prices for 2-3, 4-6 etc. We have been to many many Thai restaurants (northern and southern Thai) and just wanted to try this on the Michelin Star reputation. Now that we have ...
The food my not be everybody's taste. Review the menu before going there. The food is just ok.

The food was stellar. Great combinations of rich flavors and varied textures. New takes on classic Thai dishes. One of the best Thom Yum’s and Pad Thai’s we’ve ever had. Service was great. Definitely going back.

Not bad for a local spot. First sushi experience in 5 months so it hit the spot.

Service was very good but the food left us very disappointed. The beef in the green curry beef was chewy, fatty and flavourless. The pad thai had too much shrimp paste and smelled strongly of wet dog. The crab salad was OK but not nearly as good as the classic green papaya salad most Thai eateries offer for less than half the price. The fluorescent overhead lighting and aggressively minimalist interior made it feel like an institution.
