Banh mi under 10 bucks in Vancouver is unheard of. I didn’t like the weird parts of chicken in the sandwich but the banh mi was still delish

Wow, this place is a steal! I snagged a full sub with pork belly, two shrimp salad rolls, and iced coffee for just $20!

Plus, they’ve got pre-made meals you can grab and go.

Really authentic grilled pork banh mi and bun bo Hue that I haven't seen anywhere else come close, reminded me of home. Small place for dine in so better to take out.

I’ve been coming here for over ten years. While the quality has definitely been on and off—and it’s gone downhill over the years—I still enjoy coming here for the food and dessert.

The foods aren’t good as what it looks…

Our first time buying from this place. We definitely like the small buffet style selection. The selection and presentation is different from other places and we were excited to try the items:

- braised fish filet
- pork with shrimps
- white bean desserts

To our surprised, the braised fish filet is overly salty and not savoury as how it supposed to be. Same with the pork and shrimps. In addition, there’s too much oil, disappointing…

Finally, the bean desserts were good on its own because the coconut cream tasted sour like expired so we scraped it off the dessert.

The foods gave us diarrhea after..

We both know what genuine Vietnamese foods suppose to taste like. This isn’t it. After such a horrible experience, we’re not coming back here again.

I walked past this store and decided to give it a try. I purchased three ready-made food items. Unfortunately, two of the three were so salty that I couldn’t even finish them.

I also bought the kidney bean dessert, which came with coconut milk. The coconut milk was sour, so I had to throw the entire dessert away as I already poured it onto the dessert. It was a very disappointing first impression, and I don’t plan to return.
