The Che was not fresh, it smelled and tasted off. Also, save your money and walk next door to the Dong Thanh/New Fresh Supermarket for the Nem Chua which is half the price.

Staff member told me the pandan jelly pudding was $6 but charged me $7..

I just waited for over 20 mins for an ice cold, tough spring roll. Not a salad toll,a spring roll. There are dozens of other Viet places in the area, will go elsewhere next time.

Today, I went to here to buy bún bò and gỏi cuốn. I told the staff that I do not eat vegetables and would like extra meat.

When it came time to pay, since I was paying for both dishes together, I didn’t know whether the staff had charged extra for the additional meat or not.

After that, another staff member (an older person) came out and said, in a very rude tone: “She doesn’t take vegetables but wants extra meat. Vegetables only cost a few cents, yet she asks for more meat.” ( nó không muốn lấy rau mà nó muốn thêm thịt, bịch rau có mấy chục cent thôi mà đòi thêm thịt). She refers to the customer: NÓ ?????????

I then said to the younger staff member who had taken my payment earlier that charging extra is not a problem at all, but customers should not be spoken to in that manner.

Honestly, I wanted to leave immediately. I have been to this place many times before, and this is the first time I have experienced something like this.

I still gave the restaurant 4 stars because the lady (I’m not entirely sure if she is the owner) is very kind.

I have been here before and ordered the same way — no vegetables, extra meat, and I was willing to pay extra. However, she told me it was okay and gave me a lot of meat.

After that day, I came back again and met her once more. Because I didn’t want to receive extra meat without paying more, I didn’t mention adding meat this time. Even so, she still gave me a generous portion. I truly appreciated that.

After today’s incident, however, I do not want to return to this restaurant anymore. That staff member was extremely rude. She intentionally spoke loudly so that everyone in the restaurant could hear.

AMAZING banh mi sandwich, possibly the best I’ve had. I had the special sandwich and a pandan popsicle. Incredible value. And Yum!

Hands down one of the best bun bo hue in town. Soup is phenomenal with plenty of meat - pork hocks, brisket slices, & viet deli. We usually get takeout to have at home, but in person gets you hot tea.

Love this place! I come here pretty regularly. Usually get thr house special sub and ice coffee. Love that their sub, it has a good amount of stuffing and meat.

Beautiful family run spot. Super authentic, great ingredients, a true taste of Vietnam. The people that run this place have been doing it for 25 years, and their kindness and level of service is second to none. I got the banh mi special (spicy), a Vietnamese ice coffee and some tapioca dumplings for the road.

So glad I stumbled on this place. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a few times and honestly their banh mi (grilled pork) is prolly the best I’ve ever had. The service is friendly as well. I need to try some other things! Luckily I live around the corner.

My wife always crave for the pandan jelly with yellow bean dessert. So we decided to check out Kingsway Deli that a friend recommended. We always drive by here, but never cared for checking it out. The dessert was good and $6 is good value. Other place like Tina's Cake House is $10. We would come back here again to try other items next time.
