The bento box was incredible! Great for 2 people to share. The service was super friendly!!
……… are you serious 4.6 🤣
Love their service, the waitress was very nice and attentive. Our food came out fast, probably because we came on slow time. Overall, the food was good, seasoning on the salad was just right, nothing else needed
Delicious food, innovative menu. Excellent experience.
So impressive for the first time! Good service and good place. All dishes are delicious and inexpensive. Recommend black cod and ebi mayo. Thanks for the birthday treat too :)
A spontaneous walk by led us into the doors. All was amazing. The service was great and the food was beautiful to the eye, very fresh very clean very flavourful. We will definitely be back again.
It's delicious. You can meet Japanese polite customer service again.
Wagyu rice bowl is average and can be used for taking photos. The dandan noodles are delicious?Don’t order the cabbage snack. The drinks are good?worth trying a glass

I’ve always loved Kingyo, but sadly, it doesn’t feel like the same place anymore—maybe there's been a change in management or staff. Our recent experience was disappointing. We ordered a bento box in advance and were really looking forward to it. When it was finally brought to the table, the server just left without explaining any of the dishes like they used to. When we asked about a new item in the bento box that we hadn’t seen before, she sounded annoyed and replied, “OK, I can explain.”
We also ordered a hot stone beef dish, and the stone was used with leftover food still on it. This was a major concern for us in terms of cleanliness and presentation.
Throughout the meal, service was inconsistent. When we asked for water and utensils, the waitress said “OK” but then proceeded to help other tables and clear dishes before finally getting back to us when she had absolutely nothing else to do. This happened multiple times. We even had to ask another server to call her over just to request the bill. Even after we asked, she continued to attend to other tables and didn’t bring it right away.
It’s disappointing to see the quality of service and attention to detail has gone down. I hope Kingyo can address these issues and get back to the great experience it used to be.

Always good time at kingyo, good food, always consistent quality, service is good enough, the vibe is fun, staff keep shouting things. And surprisingly the best avocado sushi in town. Parking is a hassle

We had a fantastic meal at Kingyo on a fairly quiet Tuesday night. The servings were impeccably presented, incredibly fresh, and flavourful. We've eaten here before and will definitely be back again when we're in Vancouver. The sockeye salmon carpaccio was divine. The miso soup was unique. Pressed sushi is highly recommended. Friendly service.
