Fantastic food and service. Try the sticky rice. Our server truder was amazing.
High end Cantonese restaurant, during lunch time serves dim sum. The food was good, the waiters were efficient, the only thing is that the recepcionist/hostess is a little bit rude, with a long line of clients waiting. Always busy, make sure you have reservation!
I like that deep fried tofu dish ALOT! Nothing like it.
Best Dim Sum that I had in Vancouver.
There's a great selection of dim sum. All we ordered were tasty. I like how they are not overly salty. The service was great, and seating is comfortable. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the front desk reception completely forgetting about us. My advice is stand closer to the reception and follow up with them time to time if you haven't get a table yet.
Pricey restaurant for dim sum but they also serve regular Chinese foods. Some normal dim sum, tasted good and fresh. Names of dishes in English is extravagant and sounded very high class but normal food wise. Beef balls were done well but the taste was overwhelmed by the veggies and spices. Shrimp dumplings were good. "Har cheung" were good and I like that they don't splash the sauce over it and provided the sauce on the side. Beef tendon was well done but too overwhelming in taste. The seafood "yee meen" (noodles) was ok, very little noodles and decent amount of seafood.
The dim sum at Kirin was very pleasant. Service was great and the food was great. This is one of the best dim sum restaurants in the City of Vancouver. It is my Go To place. I look forward to returning soon.
Got a recommendation from our hotel and had lunch. Excellent Dim Sum. Very busy restaurant but had excellent service. Highly recommend.
Kirin is known as a slightly pricey restaurant with quality food. It is also known as a safe bet when hosting out of town friends. Their pan fried black cod and the winter melon soup were the most memorable dishes. The only downside is their limited wine selection. I wanted them to only uncork one bottle of wine, but the waiter exceeded his instruction and uncorked two bottles. So one may need to micromanage the server on this front.
The food is tasted good and the people who serving there are very nice, besides they have 2 hrs of free parking too but make sure to do the reservation otherwise the waiting time will be very long.

One of the better, clean and upscale Cantonese style Chinese restaurant. Used to have dim sum here often, and this time visited here for the first time in about 5 years.
Good quality dim sum for a price. People come to Kirin for consistency, quality and service, you don't really come for innovation, and new tastes on the edge of the food spectrum.
Top level dim sum in Vancouver, service is good too. Decent place.
One of my favorite Dim Sum restaurant's in Vancouver! I have been coming here for years, since I was in elementary school and I have never been disappointed. Whenever I come home from University I always make sure I eat here at least once before I go back! The food is always delicious and fresh, but there can be a wait at time to get in. But it is totally worth your time because the food here is amazing!
This is a one of the top class chinese restaurants. Whoever want to taste the real traditional cooking art with awesome delicious food.It will be one of great choice.
