A small, friendly restaurant with great value for money dishes.
Cheap and cheerful. Good selection. Nice staff.
I went there 2 times and I really liked and enjoyed the food.
Portions are small
Chicken Katsu Curry had three thin about the size of half a playing card panko crusted pieces of chicken.
Looked like a thin slice of pork. Couldn't really tell what it was. Good amount of rice and sauce.
Koroke mashed sweet potato panko crusted and deep fried came in an unusually small form.
Tasted good but for the portion size, it wasn't a bargain.
The food tasted pretty good.
Just didn't feel like it was a good value for the money.
The person I ate with enjoyed his meal and would go back if he was in the area.
Portion seems small in the curry katsu I ordered. The curry was tasty but the katsu seemed overcooked.
Love the food and service here. Have been here many times, but we recently ordered Chicken karaage and very disappointed in the portion. The bowl came with 5 pieces of thin slide of deep fried chicken thighs disproportionately to the amount of rice in the bowl. The sauce is great, but wish there would be more chicken pieces or at least a bigger size for chicken as the bowl cost about $15ish.
Pretty good sushi, small friendly atmosphere, friendly staff
The Donburi have a lot of rice compared to the protein and other ingredients, more than I have seen in other places. And too much sauce, so if you do not like too much dressing/sauce on your meal, ask for it on the side. The flavors were good though.

My fave place for an affordable Chirashi don downtown! Their pork belly bowl is also so good! #

Amazing sushi donburis, particularly the sha-ke don, and even the katsu curry, corokke, and gyu don I've tasted before were stellar. With an affordable price point, casual vibes, and attentive staff, I'd highly recommend this place.

I ordered Chicken-egg donburi to go. The miso soup was a little salty and the donburi was just average. The zucchini was delicious. But the chicken smelled like chicken and the meat was dry. There wasn't enough sauce and the rice felt undercooked. Overall it was just okay and I don't know about other donburis.
