Ordered a burger which had two very thin meat slices. The size was more like a kid size bun. The burgers were burnt on one side. Very unhappy with the quality.

Grilled cheese consisted of processed cheese which had no taste and was like chewing melted plastic.

It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Staff is very rude and the food and drinks are bad. Terrible service, I will never come back again.
**Beautiful Wedding Venue***
We recently had our wedding at Koerner's Pub and we are so happy with that decision. The location is beautiful, Loafe catering was delicious, and Marcela and her team were great.
Having our wedding at Koerner's made for an easy day with no extra travel for ourselves or our guests between the ceremony and the reception. It felt intimate in the garden ceremony with a beautiful backdrop for photos. The tables already at Koerner's provided a simple and elegant feel that didn't require a ton of decorations which made for easy planning. Multiple guests came up to share how delicious the food was (we definitely recommend the flank steak with chimichurri).
Would highly recommend considering Koerner's for your wedding!

Really poor service.
Went there at 12:30 pm. I had to wait for one full hour only to receive my burger. And then had to devour it without really tasting the damn food because my class was starting. This team is not good enough to be on campus. They're severely short staffed with inexperienced undergraduate students serving tables of 6 people. But with absolutely no competition around, they survive on monopoly.
I don't think I want to go there ever again. I try to change my friends' minds too if they suggest this place for any sort of gathering.

This truly is a hidden gem on campus. Except where do we go on Saturdays, when you are closed? Suggestions?

Went there for the grad students meeting and absolutely loved it! The place was packed with vibrant people which gave such an energetic atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and contributed to the experience. The beers were great and the burger I had was good enough – not very large but also not expensive.

We tried this place out during the BCTF conference, they seemed woefully unprepared and understaffed when we went to eat lunch, the food was rather mediocre we had a burger and a few tacos,, took forever , seating was entirely uncomfortable. Considering there is literally a built in guaranteed clientele this place definitely needs a makeover

Sophie is the greatest bartender girl I have ever encountered in my whole life, she treats everyone with respect and patience and caters to your every need.
It’s a walk up and grab your drinks kind of bar but I’ve never been left with an empty glass or an empty stomach.
Hard to find hole in the wall but highly recommended by anyone in the community.
Free Pool (1 table) - absolutely massive patio with live music every 2nd Thursday

Solid pub for a university. Great place to relax and socialize if you are a grad or PHd student. Food is surprisingly very solid.

Pub for the university.
University students working there.
Service was terrible, not going to the university so the children working didn't not appreciate older people there. Food was not great. There was band playing outside. Gladly I'll never return

Vegetarian options: Sweet potato ? taco was good
Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options available, dairy free sauce on tacos and cheese left off
Parking: Street and parking lot but not sure about pay or free. I Uber in downtown and university area
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, more university student vibes
Wheelchair accessibility: One step up into the back entrance, slopped entry way there too. Would need to be able to walk or be lifted over 1 big step
