Aymeric made a perfect almond cortado, not an easy feat, and it went perfectly with the buttery, flaky pain au chocolat and elevated overnight oats for a ideal little brunch.

No MSG No Garlic Foodie

The photos of this place looked attractive and plant-base yogurt was mentions, so we tried it out one lunch time. Unfortunately, we arrived at 1:30 when the lunch items were sold out. Since I can't eat eggs, the only choice left for me was avocado toast. Thankfully, the beet hummus does not contain garlic. The interior was quite open, a functional space, but not comfortable. If there was a line up of people ordering lunch, then the open space between the counter and the bench by the wall makes sense. Without the line up, where we sat by the wall felt a bit too open. The food arrived quickly enough. I appreciated the beets hummus but felt that the dish lacked passion – if I made this at home, I would have sliced the toast thicker, burnt it more, used twice the volume of hummus. I appreciated though that the avocado was freshly sliced and not mashed. This is a very helpful place for people working around this area and seems to have mostly regulars. Curiosity satisfied.

Nice café. Their toasts are ok ok. Coffee is also good. This is a stop of office workers in this neighborhood. Or if you are waiting for someone at the US Consulate, Koffie is also a good option.

Went to Koffie today and had an Americano with avocado toast. The café is a bit hidden, but it really surprised me in a good way. Excellent service, calm atmosphere, and good music. It’s also well located, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. Definitely a place I’ll come back to.

It is a tiny coffee shop. From alternative milk selections only almond and oat milk available- no coconut. The avocado toast with poached eggs was good. I found the coffee decent, definitely not as good as in other places. Service was nice, staff very welcoming.
