The male server who worked the evening Dec 9th deserved 0 star literally. Walked in kindly asking to order an ice cream to go. The server did not greet us at all instead showing a face like we are bothering him and saying something “impressive”. He said “I am not sure… I am pretty busy.” Is that even a server’s response? then he just left us standing there without saying that is a yes or no or any followup. Such a bad service. Never come back this store ever

It was my first time here and I enjoyed the food. The Ebi Mayo was particularly delicious. My mazesoba or mixed noodles were very decent even though I prefer noodles in broth more. There were other more interesting items that I will return to try. This place is easily accessible. There’s free parking on East and West Boulevard as well as on side streets.

I felt treated so unfairly as a regular customer. I didn’t knew that i could get charged more on uber, just for giving special instruction.

Ordered szechuan mala masezoba on uber. I noted down to give me extra cilantro. Without any confirmation, charged me 3 dollars for “extra cilantro”. What i actually got was just an extra SPRINKLE of cilantro for 3 dollars.

There wasn’t even any options for cilantro add-ons on uber, why are you guys charging me AND ESPECIALLY WITHOUT ANY CONFIRMATION BACK TO THE CUSTOMER. I wouldn’t have said yes to it.
I’d rather if i get ignored on my special instruction, rather than charging me without any confirmation.

Honestly, kerrisdale branch is always the worst. They always gives out the smallest portion and they are always stingy with their sauces and toppings.Service is always slow. I’ll definitely stop going to this branch.

I recently visited Komodo Tokyo Mazesoba and tried their Sicily Mazesoba—it was a pleasant surprise! The spice level was just right, making it spicy enough to be enjoyable without being overwhelming. The atmosphere of the restaurant added to the experience; it was filled with natural sunlight and had a soft mood that really suited my tastes. Whether you’re in the mood for something a little spicy or just want to enjoy a meal in a comforting environment, this place has something to offer.

🍜 Tasty Tokyo Vibes at Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba - Kerrisdale! 🍥

🌞 Stopped by for a quick meal at Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba and was delighted by the rich flavors! I ordered the Original Ramen with Tamago and a side of Gyoza, and both dishes hit the spot. The broth was savory and comforting, a perfect treat on a chilly day.

🍲 This location offers more than just traditional ramen; they’re known for their mazesoba—brothless ramen that’s packed with umami. While I didn't try it this time, it’s definitely on my list for my next visit. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy, with a modern Japanese feel that makes it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal.

🥟 The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service and making me feel right at home. Whether you’re a ramen enthusiast or new to Japanese noodles, Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba is a must-try in Kerrisdale!

Well
It’s a bit disappointed this time
To be fair, we don’t order their main dishes which is the Mazesoba
I ordered a Curry Pork Cutlet, some tofu, a bowl of std ramen.
Honestly the ramen is ok average
The curry is nowhere near.
Most disappointing is the rice. It’s hard and non Japanese grade rice. It’s like those u bought from supermarket and put it in microwave like convenient pack rice
The cutlet is very below average, hard and not juicy at all
Ramen, soup is ok, noodle is good, ingredients is fair. Pork slice is average.
Can’t compare with other nearby.

I should order their special and mazesoba to give a full review

Staff is nice
Atmosphere is cozy modern and clean.

Service was awful, the waitress was unfriendly and Akane was like a robot, I thought Japanese has good manners and service?

Place for broth-less mixed ramen. Original ramen is better next door.

This bowl of Japanese noodles is not udon, nor soba, nor ramen. It is mazesoba and it means mixed noodles! Think of it as a brothless ramen. And Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba, which comes straight from Tokyo, does it best. Containing a wide array of delicious umami toppings and the chewiest noodles, you'll want to scrape up every last bite of this dish. This is one of my favourite places to go to when I visit Vancouver.

We got a Zenbu and Shio mazosoba. Tastes really good. The left over broth with rice is excellent.
