For those new to the joy of mazesoba, I took a video of how to enjoy every last bit of it. Once you have finished eating the mazesoba noodles, you will feel sad that you are unable to lick the bowl, have every last streak of awesome sauce and 'eat the bowl clean' like your Asian mom told you to do growing up. You will think what a waste of the delicious sauce, all those nice bits of minced meat, seaweed, and spring onion. And then they will offer you a few spoonfuls of rice. You add it into the bowl and use it to soak up all the delicious sauce and pick up all the yummy bits. You will add the delicious homemade vinegar that you have been enjoying eating the entire meal. And when you finish and the bowl is clean, you will, for the rest of your life, wonder why other delicious noodle places don't offer this as part of an expected piece of noodle life. ?
Vegetarian options: The most delicious vegetarian mazesoba ever. So worth it.

Fantastic, friendly service from Por. And the gyoza is fresh and tasty. Thank you!! ?
I've always liked this place and have been a regular customer. However, when I visited again last week, the food was unbelievably salty! I had to drink 2 liters of water after finishing my noodles. I really hope they improve on this.

I love this place!! The food is delicious and really reminded me of the rice I had in japan! I highly recommend the salmon egg rice. We also got the yuzu carbonated drink and it was also good, and their food options are really affordable. The interior of the place is also super cute with a lot of lanterns and walls that had pictures from the streets of Japan. The service, food and vibes of this place is great and I recommend you to check any of their locations out!

This ramen has very strong MSG. I kept drinking water after eating. There are so many seats in the restaurant, but there are no customers, which means that the service staff are not busy at all. But when we entered the restaurant, the service staff only put down the menu and we sat down. I waited for the service staff to come back to see if we wanted to order, but instead of paying attention to us, they just chatted with themselves. In the end, I had to call them 4 times before they were willing to come back to Taiwan to order for us. I hope their boss can train their employees well. Whether a restaurant can continue to have good business results depends on good service quality.

I went to the ramen restaurant next door, but the restaurant was too small and the line was long...
I think Mazesoba suits me much better than ramen...
Delicious food in a spacious and comfortable interior.
Highly recommended!!

We went here for lunch during our trip to Vancouver. The server was very friendly and welcoming and we were seated quickly. We ordered vegan ramen and vegetarian mazesoba. I loved my vegetarian mazesoba. The flavor was really good. Totally worth the money. They also give you free noodles with ramen which worked out great for my son who can eat a lot. They too offer rice at the end with mazesoba.
The place is very nicely decorated and staff was very nice.

The mazesoba is delicious, at least when dining in, and consistently well-prepared. However, the free extra noodles promotion is overly confusing to the detriment of the customer and the wait staff.
Here’s my understanding (after asking several times): you can have free extra noodles but only if you order it in advance of your dish arriving to your table. The wait staff speak to you as if this caveat is intuitive and self-explanatory. Once you realize that your dish has not come with extra noodles and endure the rigamarole of inquiring how to acquire said noodles, you are informed that you cannot have any because you did not respond correctly when posed the strangely worded question prior to your dish arriving at your table.
This review contains zero exaggeration. You literally are forbidden to have any more noodles. I, personally, did not care if the extra noodles were free or not. In fact, I asked if I could simply pay to have some more noodles. But you cannot pay for extra noodles even though you can hypothetically have them for free, if only you had selected the right mystery door in this Kafka-esque nightmare. Why promote free extra noodles if you'd actually prefer your customers not to have them? Why subject your wait staff to this bizarro bureaucracy? Why can't I pay for extra noodles at a restaurant whose sole purpose is to make noodle dishes? I have so many questions.
