We came here for dinner to order their spicy mazesoba, ramen, and pork gyoza. It was our first time to try mazesoba, so delicious. I can taste the grinded fish and minced pork was combined properly with a lot of spices. The runny yolk made the noodle creamy. You can add rice at the end to mix with the leftover spicy grinded meats. They offer upsize bowl for free.

Super yummy mazesoba that I've never had at any other Japanese restaurant. I love all the flavors and various ingredients. Plus huge serving sizes so I always have leftovers for a second meal. The staff are all very friendly and professional and it's a really nice big restaurant with lots of space and nice and peaceful ambience. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to all of their locations and this is the prettiest one in terms of decor. I’m surprised that it isn’t as busy as the other locations. I don’t go for the ramen, though. Go for the mazesoba. That’s what they’re known for anyway.

Ramen Worth the Trip: Mazesoba Magic in Vancouver in Kitsalano
Every time I visit Vancouver, this ramen spot is a non-negotiable stop—and for good reason. This time, I ordered the Mazesoba Deluxe, and it absolutely delivered. Topped with a sprinkle of chili spice and balanced with a splash of white vinegar, every bite was a flavorful explosion—rich, savory, spicy, and perfectly umami.
The noodles were thick and chewy, soaking up the bold sauce without getting soggy. It’s one of those dishes where the more you mix, the better it gets. The casual, relaxed ambiance makes it easy to settle in, and the service is impressively fast—ideal for a quick meal without sacrificing quality.
If you’re in Vancouver and even remotely a fan of ramen, this place is a must-visit! The location is also located in Kitsalano and with many great stores and restaurants within walking distance
