Too many flys in store, no idea why. Hope to see improvement. Host likes challenges customer who want X2 X3 portion size. Seems afraid customer to eat when customer is very hungry. Rather want customer wait for new cook noodle. Chashu - remain unsanitary smelly taste unpleasant. Health concerns remain questionable. Overall - require health safety officer for inspection

Had Niku Mazesoba at Kitsilano. Overall it was good. One thing, I ordered spicy, which was not any spice inside lol. Gyoza and Kara Age were good, both portions were big.

We tried Tokyo and tofu mazesoba. It was delicious. The location was very nice. Come again for this taste.

Tried their signature Mazesoba and salmon one and both were delish! The regular ramen was just OK, but perfect for a kid. Great service and cool decor. Would recommend!

Decided to come here because another very popular ramen place next door had a 45-minute wait while Kokoro had empty tables, and after eating the food, let me tell you, it is an injustice that this place isn't getting a similar amount of business.I had the Mentaiko Cream Mazesoba, and it was amazing; a porky, fishy, garlicy, peppery taste explosion in a creamy sauce that coats your whole mouth with bold flavors, and thick noodles, cut to the perfect length to fill your mouth, and so chewy you get addicted to eating them. It really captures the taste of authentic Japanese food, and reminded me of my travels in Japan. For the price point, you can get any of the 3 bowl sizes AND, with mazesoba, you get a side of rice to mix into the remaining sauce in the bottom of your bowl, which comes out to quite a bit of food. I was definitely satisfied.I came here as an alternative to another restaurant, but it deserves so much better. Now, whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I'm choosing this place first, for sure.HIGHLY recommend.

Nice place, decent food, friendly service. They give free drinks to diners who provide 5 star reviews, so the average score is certainly misleading.

I’m a big kokoro lover girl and I’m so happy that they opened one up in kits! No matter what I’ve tried, I’ve always loved every single dish and all of their mazesobas are chef’s kiss! Their drinks are good too and come in a little cute bag ☺️

Overall it's just not to my taste. I did enjoy their Agedashi Tofu and found their food decent although I'd recommend you stick to the regular size for their mains. I was definitely not a fan of their ice cream though, both the texture and flavour were not to my liking.

Food is really tasty but always gives me an upset stomach afterwards. Maybe it’s the spice. Nonetheless, very tasty.
