Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba - UBC

This is my 3rd time going to their restaurant and their food has always been great! My husband enjoyed his mazesoba while i always go to my usual - ramen :) We also tried their katsu as side and it was tasty!

One of the best restaurants we ever went to!

The pan fried dumplings are FIREEEE!!! They handled our group of 8 without a problem. They let me swap the pork for tofu in my ramen. So the staff rocks and so does the food. Don’t sleep on em.

The restaurant was hard to find at first but we eventually found it… when you go up the stairs, turn right and keep going till the end and it’s there. We got seated right away, food was ordered on the tablet and service was good. It came out really fast and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Probably the best mazeoba I ever had! The portion was great for the price (can upgrade to a larger bowl for free!!!). I also ordered the takoyaki and it was so crispy, cooked perfectly, just the way I like it!!! Worth giving a try and highly recommend the takoyaki!

I tried the Deluxe Mazesoba, it was very good! The price is fair for the quality of the food, the dish had a good presentation and the flavour was very good too! Good experience, would repeat it again :)

Considering the number of great options for Asian food in Vancouver, and given the exclusive access of this location to large population on UBC campus, this is not a good option. The quality is subpar.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The ramen was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and comforting. I also tried the masoba, which was excellent, though my husband found the taste of nori a bit overpowering for his liking. The menu is well-organized and easy to navigate, with helpful pictures for each dish. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Pathetic service, food quality was marginally worse than it used to be, the dining area reeks of washroom drainage pipes. Never coming here again. Kinton, despite more expensive, is the choice to go.

Super terrible service, despite the food being excellent. The servers are very rude, and there is a high minimum spending requirement to be seated (excluding online orders). The blonde waiter rushed us and kept staring at us until we finished our meals, which is even worse at night near closing time. This has happened twice already, so we will not be returning due to the terrible service experience.

Surprisingly the best gyoza I've had in Vancouver. Compares really well to gyoza in Japan, really appreciate the corn starch slurry layer. Could be a bit more juicy, but overall very good for the price in Vancouver.
Great mentaiko mazesoba, really good chashu.
Good service in general, nothing crazy.

Food was good, they had an extended menu, compared to the Kokoro places I’ve been before. Service, was fine, the waiter seemed relatively new ( a little shy). Anyway a good place to eat around UBC.

I recommend mentaiko cream mazesoba. The noodles are chewy and the taste is very complex. The regular size is enough for girls, but the price is a bit expensive.

Horrible service and horrible food. do not go here ever. I know many people who have found the most random things in their food (like rocks, hair, etc) and this company doesn’t do anything. don’t ever go here unless you want to risk your life and health.
