This is the second time we've enjoyed a meal at Kozak Gastown.
We ordered several dishes and ate family style, sharing the delicious meal.
The food is fantastic, as is the service. We will definitely be back.
Thanks everyone!

If you haven't been to Kozak and are thinking about it, please go. You will not be even remotely disappointed unless your standards are unfairly high.

Only just popped into the bakery side for a coffee and a bun but they were both fantastic. If I wasn't just walking about today I would have 💯 grabbed a loaf of rye bread it looked amazing. Glory to Ukraine!

The staff is incredibly polite, punctual, caring and professional. The idea of the restaurant is not bad at all! But the kitchen is a little lame! There is a very large selection and variety of cuisine from good cuisine! - borscht (large portion, rich, and really tasty, just like in Ukraine) business lunch or Happy Powers - absolutely worthy! From the fact that the “Set of Lard” was disappointing, it’s downright funny because there is 1) very little lard, 2) it’s not tasty, 3) it’s not lard, it’s just pieces of white fat without skin! It’s also a very thin and small sausage! Guys, owners, understand that people don’t come to you for a quick and cheap snack! They come to you for “really tasty, Ukrainian style, and atmosphere”, so calmly raise the price tag a few bucks on certain dishes, and bring them to perfection using those couple of bucks on ingredients! For example, lard can be made much better (a plateau from the garden should be something like “wow! Let’s take a photo of this and put it on Instagram” the same with sausage, make it shorter but really sausage! Great idea with borscht to give grilled bread with garlic this is just wow! Uzvar is very tasty!
