Kranky Cafe in Mount Pleasant

Cute little spot. We came down for the hot chocolate festival. They unfortunately didn't have their advertised hot chocolate available (ran out of the mix), so we got their replacement one. Tasted like strawberry milk, topped with pop rocks. Tasty, but $14 EACH is outrageous.
Won't be back in a hurry!

Stopped by Kramky Cafe for the first time today and I’m really glad I did. It’s in my neighborhood but a bit out of my usual route, so this was my first visit and definitely not my last.

The two staff working today were incredibly kind and welcoming, which immediately set a good tone. The place has a great vibe. It’s cozy, small, and very much a neighborhood café feel, with nice music playing in the background that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your coffee.

I had their drip coffee, which was really good, and I liked that they use Moja Coffee, a solid Vancouver local roaster. I paired it with a sugar-free berry muffin, and the only sweetness comes from the banana, blueberry, and pineapple. It tasted clean, light, and surprisingly satisfying. Perfect for breakfast without feeling heavy. Best of all, come early around 730 and you’re in for some warm baked goods fresh from the oven!

Overall, great coffee, thoughtful food, kind service, and a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to try something else next time.

Tried this place for the first time recently and it’s a really cute neighborhood spot. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and I loved that there’s both indoor seating and a couple of outdoor tables. I ordered an oat milk latte, which delicious and something I’d happily get again. I also tried the vegan breakfast sandwich — it was fine, but not particularly memorable for me, so I probably wouldn’t reorder it. Overall, a nice local café with great coffee and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

I love getting the Mango-Orange drink and the ambiance is chill.

Good food, nice beverages (especially the mango and orange juice)! The service can be a bit slow, but the place is cute other than that.

Came here a couple times while I was in town. The coffee is excellent. Also loved the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and green breakfast wrap. The indoor space is pretty small. I think it's fine if you're at one of the tables, but it can feel pretty cramped or like you're always in someone's way when you're in line or waiting for your order. I wish they had a takeout window to resolve this. Thanks for the excellent coffee and food!

if you listen to garage cafe lo fi for focus this is your place(Limited spots)

2 hour parking spots within walking distance.

I have to edit my review from a few years ago. Really bad service now, it’s like everyone is a kid at their first job. Rude, slow, bad communication. Overpriced. Not a one off experience.

Parking around the streets, but can be hard to find parking.
