My friends and I went here for lunch and had a great time 😊 We couldn’t even choose what to get because everything looked good. The food and service were 10/10 - felt just like home. Would recommend!!!

This is a great eating spot for family and/or friends. Very good menu with explanations of the food which was served hot and delicious. Prices were reasonable and the staff was very accommodating to everyone at the table whether young or old. Definitely a place to revisit, but reservations are probably necessary especially if it is a weekend. Loved it!

Pinned Kulinarya Filipino Eatery for quite a few years until finally coming to experience their share platter with a group of six other friends and what an experience it was. The platter consisted of a mix of different meats, vegetables, along with shrimp chips and coloured triangular sponge cakes. Some slices of fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, and orange were also present. These were all overlaid on top of a bed of white rice.

The meats consisted of chicken wings, pork hock, shrimp, and milk fish. The chicken wing was nicely seasoned with a crispy skin and the pork hock was moist and fell off the bone easily with a very crunchy skin. The shrimp had good flavouring and seasoning, adding a decent seafood touch to the platter. Lastly, the milkfish was personally my least favourite meat as I found it on the dry side and sour. However, the milkfish was alright if dipped in an accompanying tamarind sauce.

The vegetables were a mix of eggplants, kabocha, and green beans. The eggplants and kabocha were amazingly soft and moist. The kabocha was personally my most favourite favourite when mixed with a bite of white rice. The green beans were crunchy and delectable to the palette as well.

Other items included spring rolls scattered throughout the platter which had a crunch exterior and generous filling of ingredients inside (do not remember if it was a mix of pork and vegetables or completely vegetables). The sponge cakes were a bit dry and felt more for aesthetics than their taste. The shrimp chips added an additional layer of textural difference to the whole platter giving off the appetizer to the full meal vibe, although we’re fairly oily as they usually are.

Finally, the fruits added a nice refreshing and cleansing balance to all the fattier and starchy items in the platter.

Overall, I would say this was more for the experience than the food as me and friends agreed it was not gourmet food by any means, but a very fun and enjoyable experience nonetheless to share a whole table of food with close friends. If we do choose to come back, it will most likely be for their a la carte items instead. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was not bad. They had optional karaoke when the restaurant was not busy while we were there, otherwise, it had a very welcoming family friendly and homely feel to it. I would recommend others to try it at least once for the joy of it all.

Amazing! Have eaten here 3 times and each time I know I will be coming back for more. Full flavours, no cutting corners. Their Kamayan dinner is a real experience for special occasions.

I've never had Filipino food before today, but I will definitely be back to Kulinarya. The food is amazing, you can really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they do. The tenderest beef, coconutty curry, sticky garlic rice, everything was fantastic. All self respecting foodies in Vancouver should try this hidden gem!

Out there with some friends yesterday, we ordered like 10 different dishes and everything was excellent.

This is probably the best restaurant in the lower mainland

Food was excellent for what I feel like is semi-modernized. I fancied the pork sisig was the first place I've seen so far that made the dish with pig ears and pork belly. Beef kaldereta was very tender. Atmosphere can get loud when there groups are having the Kamayan feast.

Their new menu and lunch menu is amazing! They offer a $15 lunch menu daily until 4pm. It's such a good deal and I'll be back with my friends and family!

I just tried Kulinaryas new menu, abd everything was delicious 😋 I've been coming here since they opened and have always been a big fan. But their new menu is fun and fresh and exciting, while still maintaining the integrity of traditional filipino food. Can't wait for the big reveal after the renovation. I'll be back for sure.

Kulinarya exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and every dish tasted like it was made with love and care. Each bite brought a comforting sense of home — surrounded by friendly faces and an energetic, welcoming vibe. What truly stood out was the genuine hospitality. The owner and her team didn’t just serve us; they connected with us. They even came by after our meal to chat and make sure we left with happy hearts and full bellies. A beautiful blend of incredible food and even more incredible people! Try out their to die for brand new menu! The flavors of every bite is a magical experience in your pallete!

Each time we go there they'd change their menu slightly. The overall set of food is still representative of what they had, but on the last time we went, the garlic rice was just white rice with fried garlic sparingly sprinkled on it. Yes, this place is in a great location and the interior is well sorted but the food is getting smaller in portion and the taste is changing to becoming more bland and less authentic. I am sure these changes will attract more people but will equally lose some of us who supported them when they were more focused on bring true Filipino food to this city.

I came here to try the Kamayan experience. The presentation was awesome to be welcomed with the food ready! It was a lot of food def worth the price for the meal. I had tons of leftovers to pack away. The staff was super nice. This place really has family vibes as there were kids from young families enjoying their meal beside us. It did however create an atmosphere where you had to really speak up to talk to others so don’t expect to come to an intimate place lol. The halo halo was also excellent even after being so full from the Kamayan I kept going in for extra servings of the halo halo.
