One of the best Filipino restaurants we've tried so far in Vancouver! Great food choices! Staff are friendly!

Incredible food, warm service. A bit cramped but makes for an intimate environment.
We will definitely back to this place , we enjoyed their foods and the services that they provided to us. Must try the cassave cake and lumpiang Gulay 😊😊😊😃

A great place to try Filipino comfort food. The atsara brought back the memory of my Tatay, it tastes like the same. The Guimaras mango and suha is a nice touch in their cocktails.

Price to food ratio doesn’t make since, server said kaldereta feeds two-three people. It came out and it can feed 1 person, not 2-3. My gf and I were shocked. So we ordered the pork bbq, only 2 skewers came out for the price of $16. This has got to be a joke. Left here not full at all.

Kulinarya was my second experience with Filipino restaurant in Vancouver, being highly recommended by several people. Overall, really positive experience with regard to taste, portion sizes, and prices. Dishes are definitely meant to be eaten with rich and shared with the table as they can be rich on their own. Service is a bit slow due how busy the place was (we came on weekend) and ambiance can be loud as people came in big groups.
Spring Rolls ($14)
Pork and vegetables based mini spring rolls. I’d say this is decent appetizer, but just so-so compared to the rest of the dishes
Kare-kare ($25)
Beef stew with peanut sauce, served with eggplant and bokchoy. They also give you shrimp paste on the side, which really helped to cut through the richness of the peanut sauce. Really good dish especially the the eggplant, but I find the beef had too much fat to meat ratio
Crispy Pata ($24)
I feel like this is the Filipino take on German pork knuckle dish. Always a fan of crunchy skin, and paired well with the soy based dipping sauce and pickled salad (serving similar purpose like sauerkraut)
Halo-halo ($10)
The only other halo-halo I’ve tried was served in a bowl, whereas this one is slightly tricky to share since it’s in a glass. It’s always interesting to see how SEA countries have similar dessert concept to one another, however the ube really made it quite different.

First time trying Filipino food and I was not disappointed. The Kare-kare was so good.
Great food, great customer service, great place- but whatever you do, be wary of the hot chilli pepper garnish…

They have called me back to apologize for the mistake and did the refund from doordash ..
Ordered today and waited over an hour to get the food only to find out that my kids food is not put in the bag .. all they can say is report to door dash.. but it wasn't even door dash fault ..its their fault for not checking before giving it to the driver ..now I need to make this refund report when they can just send the food that I ordered..

Restaurantji Recommends
The Kamayan portion was huge, we didn't do a very good job at finishing it. There was a dessert at the end for $2 per person but we were too full to consider it. Food was great.

Very surprised to find out that they had a lunch menu where it’s all different rice dishes! Ordered the bagoong rice with pork belly and the flavours were packing! The crisp in the pork belly, the fresh vegetables pairs well along with the rice. The sisig always taste amazing!! The taste was worth the wait😋
