It's me and my wife's second time dining at Kulinarya and the experience is always outstanding! The place is complete. It has great food, great FILIPINO-INSPIRED DRINKS, vibey ambience, and outstanding customer service! When you add them together, it is what really sets this place apart! I feel proud as a Filipino-Canadian that these team of people represents Filipino food so well in Vancouver! 10 out of 10 and I highly suggest Kulinarya!

My wife is Filipina. We've eaten at a dozen different Philippino eateries over the years. On a whim we tried Kulinarya and were blown away. The finest yet in the vibrant Commercial Drive village. 10/10.

We visited with a bigger party to try their Kamayan feast charged per person. We ordered the dishes in advance when placing the reservation, and a deposit is required. When we arrived, all the food was laid out on banana leaves and uncovered in front of us. No cutlery and meant to be eaten with our hands, but we each commandeered a sharing spoon per person at the end because it was easier to scoop up the food and rice that way.We had a party of 9 adults, and they sat us at a tight table meant for 8 with the assumption that we could squeeze 5 people on the bench on one side. They gave in and gave us a chair at the end when we requested because the seats are a tighter squeeze on the banquette seats than the chairs. Perhaps the tables that are not banquette would be more comfortable. Smaller space in general. For the food, at $50 per person, it was a generous amount that left us leaving with a take-out box each as we only managed to finish half the food. The flavours were great, and the fruits were fresh. Our highlights were the kare kare (beef and tripe in peanut sauce and shrimp paste) and crispy binagoongan (crispy pork belly in shrimp paste). The grilled squid was a hit and miss for some, as it got a bit fishy after it was cooled down from being lain out ahead of time. For the drinks, the Pina peach and mango mojito were refreshing and delicious, the ube was special, and the coconut cream was a nice touch. The pandan cocktail was much less memorable and attractive in flavour profile for us.The dessert was included in the food cost, and we were so stuffed at the end. It was tasty but on the sweeter side. The total spend for us included a cocktail each, which was great value for all the food, drink, and dessert we got.The last thing was that the take out boxes were thin material, and after we packed up, we noticed the oils and sauces from the food were leaking out and made a mess of our hands and dripping out of the bags so we had to pad them all with paper towels.

Fantastic vegetarian and vegan options. My go to is the rice combo meal with vegan Ginataang kalabasa, substitute white rice for garlic fried rice (the best!!) Portion is quite big.I miss their dried flower arrangement on the wall but hope they’ll bring it back or replace it soon!Vegetarian options: Many options for vegans and vegetariansDietary restrictions: Seems to be open to dietary modifications. Many keto options with all the meat. Unsure about gluten free options but the rice combo meals are.

Nice little restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. I absolutely recommend their “ube colada” cocktail! Also tried their mango mojito from the happy hour menu and was not disappointed. All the dishes we had were amazing and the people working there are so nice and friendly. It’s worth it to try many plates!

Dined in and had the Bangus Sisig, Tokwa Baboy, and Crispy Binagoongan. Everything was so delicious in a cute restaurant setting. The restaurant is very small and intimate, but was full and vibrant on a Sunday night. A bit on the pricier end for Filipino food, however it was well worth it considering that the dishes were quite elevated and the great service. Cannot wait to come back!

Celebrated my birthday here with my Quinit Boxing Team and we loved everything here. Thank you especially to Kuya Bryan, Ate Jet and entire kitchen staff for being so accommodating, and made this day extra special. Most of my co-workers are non-Filipinos and it’s their first time to try Filipino dishes. They were really impressed with the food, so good and flavorful. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious, authentic Filipino food in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. It was refreshing to find vegan and vegetarian options and the chef was so nice giving my two kids complimentary ube ice cream and barquillos. Will come by again the next time we’re in town.

I personally love dining in at Kulinarya every time I want Filipino food but lazy to cook so I thought of getting a party tray noodles and brought it over to my mother in law and family for them to try this New Year’s eve since they aren’t Pinoy. I also got crispy pata from them which are just so-so.Anyway the noodles that I’m reviewing is like one of the worse I’ve had in Vancouver in terms of the taste and quality of ingredients (green beans were not even fresh and seems just frozen) all the noodles are not whole (broken pieces) and they didn’t even add any lemon/lime/calamansi.On a serious note, nakakahiya sa in laws ko na ganon ang first impression nila sa filipino pancit. “Kulinarya” didn’t do justice with culinary. Definitely don’t recommend getting party trays from them.

I really wish I took picture of the amazing food but maybe next time. Mom and I went here for lunch or dinner earlier and this is literally the best Filipino restaurant in Vancouver. We had tapsilog, adobo chicken pie and some really good fried veggie thing. Will definitely come here again!!!

We had a great, tasty meal of generous proportions. Highly recommendable, but you have to deal with cramped spaces. The place is too small for such delicious food.

We had dinner at this restaurant. The pork with the bone was very dry and almost tasteless. Sauteed vegetables with shrimp paste are very tasty. The squid rings are very tasty. But I don’t understand why they call vinegar a sauce-It’s impossible to eat. And if you like to eat while people sitting next to you scream, this restaurant is definitely for you! Very small place.

I got the chicken adobo and the fried pork belly with lechon sauce, it was very good. The ube brownie was okay, it was kind of hard and the white chocolate was too sweet for me, I recommend to order it if you have a sweet tooth! The atmosphere was very
