Unfortunately the portion for the price they charge does not match at all…we bought food from here for a party and this won’t even feed one. Not coming back.
$50 and I picked up. This is the amount of food I got... What kind of express/canteen Filipino restaurant is this??? The biggest scam I've ever experienced in awhile. That small pinakbet bowl is $20+... The one small piece of eggplant is $17+... Will never order here again.
Me and my wife try to taste their vegetables rolls and it was good and one of our favourite is the Dinuguan ang onion hopia and we definitely comeback again .
To all we recommended this restaurant they have lots of different varieties of delicious Filipino food you should try it the price is reasonable and affordable
This red is located in Joyce area near the Joyce train station
Vegetarian options: me and my wife try the vegetable roll and the onion hopia it was really good

We recently ordered a party tray from Kumare Express at Joyce Vancouver, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish! Joy, who took our order over the phone, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She made sure all our requests were noted and provided excellent customer service. The Filipino food was absolutely delicious, with every dish cooked to perfection and full of authentic flavors. Our guests loved every bite! Highly recommend Kumare Express for your next gathering or for a taste of amazing Filipino cuisine. We'll definitely be coming back!

Good service, staff are friendly and helpful. My only complain is some of their dishes are way too salty especially the sinigang. They offered me free sinigang soup but not able to finish it as it feels like eating soap with a bag of salt. Few cents cheaper compared to its neighbor but not as good. I don't mind paying more as long as it's satisfying. Pampanga's Best is better. Nio wonder more people go there.

As a Pinoy who also loves to cook and explore Filipino food and delicacies, Kumare is the one who will truly bring you delicious and authentic Pinoy flavors. When it comes to serving and pricing, Kumare is very fair and generous. There are famous restaurants, famous, yes, but not as worth it compared to Kumare~ still very clean! Also plus points is it felt like a quick vacation in the Philippines, especially our compatriots in Kumare are very kind and very hospitable. You can really enjoy your meal. Don't look for anyone else, eat at Kumare's!

Food is garbage. Just bought isaw and sisig. Sisig is like fried chopped pork leftovers. Sisig is inihaw then chopped ! You call yourself a kapangpangan restaurant? So bad. Isaw so hard like they didn’t even boil and clean. Very smelly and hard to chew. Feel bad taking my daughter to try. Just go max’s restaurant maybe. I already think twice because the neighboring restau has more customers. GARBAGE! Mahiya naman kayo. 10$ for 4 isaw and 15 bucks for a small sisig. Go Chinese! I just can’t believe the 5 star rating they get. Try it, then don’t forget to rate!
No offence. This can make you improve.

Super expensive. Refer to the photo attached. The sinigang was $21 and it was pretty small, it’s just one size up from the small $10 dish Plato Filipino sell. The rice, as you can see it’s $16. I bought 2, $8 each and the one they gave me is the regular sized rice from Plato Filipino. For $42, I at least expected more. You can get a big Hot Pot bowl from Big Way or Boiling Point via Uber eats at the same price or at least 2 combos (4 different small dishes and 2 rice) from Plato Filipino for this price. It tastes okay but considering how their prices are basically like Max’s? Idk make it make sense.

My friend brought me here this week to try my first proper Filipino food and restaurant. Did not disappoint!
? Tried the Sisig, came out on a hot sizzling plate and was soooooo good. Got it with the rice and also tried Halo Halo.
?? Don't know if he's a manager or something, but the guy with glasses working is one of the nicest people I've ever met working in a restaurant. He is very kind when we were placing the order, even switched us to a bigger table as we ordered multiple things. He was helping other customers in the same way.
I'm not too familiar with this cuisine, but I know I can count on this restaurant as a gateway into it. I will definitely be coming back here very soon to try other things.

Pancit canton is salty , and a bit overcooked. I wish it comes with lemon to balance the saltiness. Lechon Kawali was crunchy which is must try.

I got the isaw, adidas and tenga ng baboy bbq. I was hesitant to get the isaw but the lady said that I should try as she just made them. I wasn't disappointed with the isaw. Taste and texture was amazing. I enjoyed the isaw more than the adidas and tenga ng baboy. The other two, taste was amazing but both were kind of dry, chewy and I had a hard time biting into both.

Amazing food, friendly staff, high quality ingredients.I was in a rush, so I didn't have time to properly savor my food, but it was delicious. I had a fish stew with plain rice. Beautifully made.I also had the sweet rice balls. Highly recommend.
