This is an authentic Cantonese restaurant. The food is hot and tasty. The kitchen is rolling fast. The space is tight and limited so please go ahead and reserve your table. We came in and out within an hour. Don’t expect fancy view and wine tasting just come for authentic and wok Chi. Price is good selections are huge life Seafood available for reasonable price.

Just the two of us having a simple dinner on a rainy Saturday night. Razor clams and tong chai was not available so we opted for a seafood claypot, stir-fry bitter melon and white rice. We were given a complmentary dried vegetable/pork bone soup to start. Our ordered food arrived soon after piping hot and generously portioned We ended with a complmentary red bean pourage dessert. All the food was delicious without being too salty. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The place shows it's age and gives off a 80's Hong Kong late-night dinner vibe. We will definitely visit again to try other items on the menu. Be sure to come early on weekends as their free parking lot fills up fast and bring cash as debit and credit cards are not accepted.

Good Cozy Chinese Restaurant That's Open Late. 🇨🇳😋

My friends and I had dinner here on the weekend and it wasn't too busy. We were able to get a table for 6.

We ordered:
- Chow Mein
- Fried Rice (not pictured)
- Mapo Tofu
- Sweet Sour Pork
- Chinese Mushroom with Vegetables

The food was good and pretty standard for Chinese food. Our order also came with soup of the day and red bean dessert. Portion size I think was just enough for 6 people depending on how hungry everyone is.

Orders came in fast and service was great.

Interior was a bit on the older side which is typical for a lot of Chinese restaurants in East Vancouver. They don't have a big parking lot, so just keep that in mind...however since the restaurant is fairly small anyways, you'll most likely be able to find a parking spot.

Overall, it's a good place to eat Chinese food late night with a group.

They were so rush and loud on me.
Not happy with the services. When i left them the tip they asked more otherwise they don’t let me go.
It was a terrible experience.
Do you need to more tip even you don’t happy with service?

Check the bill! Check the bill!
The price is not the same as you heard or you saw in the menu, they will add the tax and ask for cash or etrans but no receipt!!
If you give low tips they'll ask you more otherwise you can't leave.

Please !!! check the bill before shipping the food to customers. Many times I’ve ordered on the Fantuan app and clearly noted ‘no green onions,’ but it ALWAYS comes with green onions. Please read the notes carefully before serving. Many time alreadyyy oh my godness

One of the top hidden gems for fantastic seafood at good values! The interior could be improved. But the food makes it up. As long as you don’t mind the dated interiors.

Very authentic Hong Kong restaurant in Vancouver, inside you hear Cantonese mostly, sometime Mandarin, also Vietnamese. At the door always have some people look like… how to say… very “classic Hong Kong style” if you know what I mean. Sometimes police car come visit the entrance too. Some person standing there really look like from action movie, the dangerous kind. This add very special mysterious character to the place.
The disappeared Hong Kong atmosphere, finally can find again.
Food quality is quite high, this part they did not disappoint. But please remember bring cash, they love cash very much, maybe more than they love customer.
Overall experience is interesting. You come for food, but you get free culture lesson and maybe some excitement too.

I appreciate that they open till late (2am) on all days of the week except Wednesdays, and supper is reasonably priced. I also ran into people of my community here. Pictured: mushroom fried noodles (vegetarian) / 双菇炒面(素)
