I've eaten at Kwong Chow numerous times and have always enjoyed the food. Some of my favorite dishes are crispy tofu, house special chow mein and seafood congee! They take credit cards but bring cash for backup. Parking is a bit of a hassle so be prepared to drive around. Better to transit if you can. Didn't make a reservation but they accommodated our party of 7 fairly quick! Great place to go with a bunch of friends or family, casual vibe.

Certainly not the best we had for a late night dinner. We used to love dropping by for lunch, a hot bowl of wonton or congee but last night's feast was not that good. The dry ribs in chili salt were fatty and the Squid and Green Pepper chow mein was too plain. After spending $53 for 2, we said a simple A&W burger could have been better. Sorry Kwong Chow but we were disappointed with the price of 2 dishes. Will have to reevaluate future visits. Congee still is best tasting and value.

Good place for a quick round of Chinese food; convenient location with underground parking; reasonable prices and friendly staff; closes late in the evening...

Got take out by using the online menu system (Zomi). Beware there is a service charge (mine was $6.80, about 5%). Food is tasty but the congee is very overpriced. Over $20 for congee?!!? Will not get food from here again although it is close to my home. The servers are nice.

I had a very delicious dessert, taro and sago. The taro is not sweet at all and is very tasty. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such delicious desserts in a restaurant. I finished eating it in one go and forgot to take pictures?

I called in to make an order. Came in and no where to be found my order. Showed them the call history and instead apologized for their mistake. She raised her voice to me that she will put in the order now OKAY. This time of voice and customer behaviour are unacceptable.

Awful... cold food, uncommunicative staff, staggered delivery to
Soup of the day was awful, it was water that beans were boiled in. It was described by the waitress as pork and vegetable . The pork was actually just a single piece of stingy beef. The vegetables were just a single cube of a turnip. The stock was just the water used to boil beans. When I told the staff that I was unhappy, I paid only for my soup, the staff demanded that I give them a tip. I won’t be back.

Food quality is really good. I am hong kongese and this restaurant is one of the best and most authentic cantonese cuisine in Vancouver.
