Food is great tasting, but when I ordered the chicken shawarma salad with extra meat for $24 with tip, I got such a genuinely meagre portion. Went back thinking it was an error and asked the server, she said nope, that's the policy. Ok then! Went downstairs and ate a second (real) lunch at El Cartel, amazing food and value. Maybe just this dish, I don't know, but terrible handling of the situation.

I ordered a falafel shawarma and it was way too dry. Thank goodness for the ketchup…without it, it would’ve been awful. They were not generous with the toppings, not impressed. The place was empty when I went, so I’m not sure how it has 4.8 stars. I don’t think I’ll be coming back. The Indian skinny girl gave me a bit of a subtle attitude too, which didn’t help the experience.
