We absolutely love this place! The food and service are top-notch, making us feel right at home. The chef's seasonal Japanese sashimi is a must-try, and all the hot dishes are served fresh from the kitchen. You can truly feel the passion and dedication from the entire team. We're so fortunate to have such an amazing restaurant in our neighborhood!

wait waiting out front on the bench (use cane to walk) for my husband to arrive via car so i walked down with my cane to the parking lot to surprise him, moment before he arrived for me to surprise him for dinner the building security walked by about 20-30ft away from me yelled at me repeatedly for ‘smoking weed’.
i have tattoos and wear black this type of hostility is not new to me, holding a phone in one hand and a cane in the other to stand. “umm ya im not” “NO SMOKING WEED PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT YOU” “do you see anything?!” no smoke not even a vape. after a minute they decided to leave me alone. was just at the doctor across the street, being out and about is very hard on my health so this was obviously very upsetting to me, my husband showed up about 45 seconds later and change of plans we went to mcdonald’s instead. whoever was doing security payroll of that building needs new glasses and some manners.
never coming back

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kyuzo, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming ambiance. The decor is modern yet cozy, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal.

The sushi here is simply outstanding. Every piece I tried was a work of art, meticulously crafted with the freshest ingredients. The variety on the menu is impressive, catering to both traditionalists and those looking for innovative flavors. I particularly loved the chef's special rolls, which showcased unique combinations and impeccable presentation.

The service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They took the time to explain the dishes and made excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience.

In addition to the sushi, the restaurant offers a range of delectable appetizers and desserts. The tempura was light and crispy, and the mochi ice cream was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.

Overall, Kyuzo exceeded all my expectations. It's a must-visit for sushi lovers and anyone looking to indulge in an exquisite dining experience. Five stars, without a doubt!

Cannot compare to years before. Quality of food you get does not match the price. $98 of sashimi plater looks like right out of supermarket, what a joke. . The Caotai team has the quality of fooling people. Three dishes for two people cost 200 yuan, and I feel very complicated.

The o-toro was actually the best piece of fish I've ever tasted in my entire life. The server was also kind in warning me when the market price for one particular dish was significantly higher than the others. Thrilled with the service and quality of the food.

Nicely renovated interior space with lots of tables. Parking available on side streets for free and on the main Street after 6pm. Yakitori is average - definitely not to the caliber of Zakkushi as the ones who set the standard in Vancouver. Tempura was too battered. Rolls were ok. Pricing runs higher than other similar ownership Japanese restaurants.
