Ordered a pavlova cake 2 layers for 8 people. The presentation is the best in vancouver. All the ingredients are super fresh and the cake is delicious. Highly recommend. Order online is easy and pickup from the kitchen is easy to locate and plenty of parking.
Very unique also classic dessert and I love it
Friendly staff! First time trying the Caneles and our family enjoyed them. Great texture and taste. We'll definitely come back when visiting Granville island.
Ordered 50 for a realtor showing, they turned out perfect!
Best Canalés on the West Coast 🤤The flavors are delicous and unique but always be sure to try the traditional as well. It’s perfection.
Whether you’re into French pastries or just curious to try something new, La Bise Bakery is a sweet stop—plus, they often offer generous samples to help you pick a favorite.
The BEST caneles I have ever had. Every time I go to Granville Island I stop by and get at least one canele here. They really perfected the taste and textures of these things and have a good variety of flavors.
These are hands down the best Canelés I’ve had so far in my food journey. The texture strikes a flawless balance. Perfectly caramelized, crispy exterior giving way to a soft, custardy centre. While the variety of flavours adds a playful twist, I’m a purist at heart and keep coming back to the classic “plain”. I was so hooked, I made two trips to their Granville Island booth in one weekend. Absolutely worth it!
So good!
This is my go to for canelé. They have really good flavors.
I love the one with passion fruit.

love their caneles!
Amazing cannele, crunchy, sweet caramelized outer layer, with a creamy texture, full of flavor, I could taste the vanilla. I have to say the best cannele that I have tried in Vancouver. The front desk staff was super friendly and gave out free samples. I ordered a few of the original ones to take home. Cannot recommend enough.
This was my first time having a canelé, I enjoyed how the outside is crunchy while the inside tastes almost like a cheesecake!
I recommend the caramel flavour!
OMG their pavlovas are TO DIE FOR!! I was in search of one with the perfect balance of sweetness, cream, fruit, passion fruit drizzle and that amazing chewy centre. Perfect texture, perfect amount of vanilla so you don’t taste that egginess with meringue. Went twice in a week, I just can’t get enough of it!!
I also tried their beignets and I love how I can feel my teeth sink in like my head landing on a cloud pillow.
First time trying caneles. My friend told me about this place and she described it as croissant like on the outside and mochi on the inside. While some flavours had more moisture which made it more soft in the middle, others like chocolate or cookie butter were more firm. My favourite is the lemon meringue. That caramelized and crunchy exterior is really something.
What a gem this place is. It’s worth circling around for hours trying to find parking on the weekends 😆
First time having Canalés and they were delicious. I got the salted caramel one and I highly recommend. It’s a light French pastry with a custard interior that melts in your mouth. Incroyable 🤌🤌
Apologies for the photo, as you can tell I was so excited to start eating that I forgot to take a photo beforehand.
