I’ve had the sheer joy of coming here 2 weekends in a row with 2 different friends who are also now fans of Lucha Libre. They have *the* freshest tasting margaritas and daiquiris. The pico is perfection, and as someone who’s not the biggest fan of guac I could eat theirs every single day (I ordered it last weekend for no reason, not being a huge guac fan and all, and was thankful I did). I had the burrito with brisket (which was absolutely amazing) my first visit and the heavy weight bowl with chicken last night, and both were incredibly delish! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and enjoyable to talk with. Thankfully they’ve got a restaurant closer to me in Port Moody (as I’m across the bridge), and I can’t wait to go with my 2 friends there soon! You won’t be disappointed… make the reservation and enjoy this phenomenal place💚

Tried this place for the first time and I’m obsessed, loved everything — the food the drinks the vibe. Everyone was super nice and the music and interior were such a mood. I’ll definitely be back.

The food is delicious however every time that I eat here it has been cold and small portions. But besides those two issues the food is delicious

This place is a must-try! I always get the verde enchiladas (the black beans on the side are to die for!). Never been disappointed by the food, service, or look + feel of this place. Truly one of a kind!!

I reluctantly share this review quite honestly as it is my favourite hidden secret just off Granville street, but I can’t help my altruistic self! Expect impossibly fresh delicious guacamole and chips, really fresh authentic tacos, hibscious margs, great music, all with an authentic, neon signed, Mexican, street, and wrestling vibe. Let’s just say it’s the closest you’ll get to real Mexico in Vancouver including lovely staff always. And great happy hour! Tell them I said hi!

Ate here with family before a concert at The Pearl and we loved it. Margaritas were great. Service was even more amazing, considering members of my dining party were a bit sloppy. Our server was a gem. I thought the tacos lacked flavor, but I will certainly come back again for the good vibes and try something else.

Cute little spot to get happy hour tacos. Really loved their guava mojito, and especially appreciated the server who was honest about which tacos were better than others!

Awesome late night place to grab food and drinks. Perfect for after a show at the Orpheum or Commodore Ballroom as it's close.

Lucha Libre Taqueria is not just a taco restaurant, it’s an authentic Mexican experience with the vibe of Mexican wrestling. The guac is crazy good and the margs are no different. Come visit.
Today on October 5th is Sofia, the bartender, host, and waitress. She brings this place together. If you see this review, tell her Happy Birthday!!!

Wish they had more innovative options for vegetarians, but the Rajas were really perfectly done and so flavourful! Staff was very friendly and timely.

It is not true to say that “alcohol can only be served alongside a meal.” As a food primary establishment, you must have a full menu available when serving liquor and the primary focus of your establishment must be serving food. Yes, if every patron at your restaurant ordered alcohol only, that would cause a problem for you but forcing patrons to order food with drinks is not a requirement of provincial licensing.
Fun place,great tacos!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They messed up my enchiladongas order, and when I reordered, the waitress acted like I never ordered at all. The Server was soo RUDE, she came with menu in hand and said this come with this and that. Ive been there a lot of times before and i make the same order, never had an issue before. Beyond rude, beyond careless — just flat-out disrespectful. This place is a joke. Save your time, money, and patience and go literally anywhere else.

I went there and I ordered “Enchilladongas” I asked for it to be the spicy with red sauce. I got mild sauce instead, I tell to the server that I didn’t order this and asked for red sauce she said ok and after 50 minutes of WAIT, there is still no food. And when I asked the server again she says you didn’t order anything. This is so unprofessional and it happened two times now and you need to change ur servers when they don’t speak fluent english. The server was short Dark skin girl with curly hair. PLEASE FIX THIS CUZ THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL.
