We really enjoyed our meal at Lavidas. The food was very good and the portions were very generous. The waiter suggested a reasonable priced wine which we really enjoyed. The noise level was low and we could have a pleasant conversation. We will definitely go back.
This lovely restaurant offers something so rare in Vancouver -- excellent French food for a reasonable price. They have a superb 3-course prix fixe menu for $38. I had the French Onion soup, beef cheek and Creme Brulee. All delicious. Friends of mine had the Mango Salad, duck, and KD's crumble a la mode. Everyone loved their meals. Service and ambiance were stellar. And BONUS, it was not loud. Definitely returning.
