A student haven and neighbourhood spot. Great for a sunny day or the deep of winter exams. The vibe is great for studying or a date. Staff are always friendly. The baked goods are fresh, if not the most varied - you'd better like croissants! Havent tried the cake but it looks great. Thanks LaLa!

Cafe with cool furnitures, all the tables and chair are quite aesthetic. Many tables and seating so they are trying to maximise the seats, which make the space less vibe. Coffee ok, croffles were good. Place is a bit unorganised and staffs seem to be under training. Apparently they are transitioning to new ownwers.

Unimpressed. I ordered one of the raisin scones and asked the guy to toast for me with butter. Apparently this was a bafflingly confusing request. He heated the scone for a few seconds (in the microwave?) and then gave it to me, lukewarm and uncut, with a tiny cube of rock-hard butter from the fridge. I’m sorry, but it reflects very poorly on a place when they screw up a very simple request this spectacularly.

This was the best cafe during my stay in Vancouver🍀🍀I went there a lot because it was cute and relaxing.
I usually love this place, I'm even a regular. However, there's this barista who gives the coffees half empty. If I'm paying $7+ dollars for a latte, you better fill that thing to the brim. See the pictures, I didn't have a single drop of my coffee when I took those pictures. That's how little she served me (and keep in mind that there's foam, so whatever is in those pictures is actually less). The other baristas don't do that. They actually serve you the whole thing, but this girl just refuses to do it. I asked her many times to fill it to the brim and she insists that that's how it's supposed to be but, I used to be a barista and that's NOT how it's supposed to be. The proof is that her coworkers don't do it, and other coffee shops don't do it either. I think that I'll just avoid this place if I see her working, I'm done paying for more than what I'm getting.

We went on a rainy day and it was super busy. It was also extremely warm but that may have been due to the influx of customers. There are nice large tables for studying but barely any outlets so if you’re planning on studying make sure everything is charged. I ordered a blueberry scone which was decent (a bit cold), but still a bit pricey for what it was. Overall nice cafe with a good amount of seating.
