Authentic Mexican food. Probably the best I've had in Vancouver. Great staff. Ivan tolerated my broken Spanish.
Great food, great staff and great atmosphere!
Ty was a wonderful bartender! Very attentive and friendly! Very much enjoyed my meal and drinks
Beautiful spot, with great happy hour food and drinks. The vibe is right and those tiles ...damn
Visited here early April our barman Angelo was amazing best drinks on the drive i brought my family in on Saturday and they all enjoyed the food especially the drinks thank you Angelo
Was in with a group of my girls we had a fantastic time thanks to the bar staff for lovely margaritas. Angelo made the best drinks in town !!
Such good margaritas! We got a spicy piñata and a mango margarita that our server Laura recommended! Great spot!
An amazing atmosphere, unforgettable Mexican flavors, and a truly incredible staff!
I was going to be in this area and searched for restaurants and this one popped up. So glad it did! I gave mezcal a try for the 2nd time ever and it was good!
Had some good food, good drink and the bartenders were personable.
Servers and bartenders were bringing out bottles for guest to look at and read while they enjoyed the drink.
Food came out quick.
Salsa was all delicious.
Thanks for a good experience while in Van.
Vegetarian options: A few veggie and vegan options
Parking: Be careful to not park in yellow painted curb areas, or in areas that require a residential permit.
Kid-friendliness: Not particularly. It is a mezcal bar.
Wheelchair accessibility: Isle to the bathroom in the back is narrow which I imagine would pose difficult. The front door does not have a press to open.

I had mixed feelings about my visit to El Mezcaleria in Vancouver, BC. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was good, but the portion sizes left much to be desired. For a table of six, we started with an appetizer that came with just four small tortillas. Each tortilla could be broken into about four chips, which disappeared instantly. We asked for more and received just four more tortillas, which also vanished quickly. It was puzzling, as most Mexican restaurants provide at least a basket or two of chips. The limited amount of tortillas was surprising and a bit disappointing.
For my main dish, I ordered the only vegan burrito option. While it was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic, it was incredibly small. For $18, I expected to feel satisfied, but I would have needed at least two burritos to feel full.
The vegan churros were splendid! I definitely recommend!
Although the food was delicious, the portion sizes and value for money were underwhelming. If you’re planning to visit, I recommend ordering a bit more than you think you may want. It’s also a great spot for a date, thanks to its vibrant atmosphere and stylish presentation.
Vegetarian options: Not too many vegetarian options shown on menu, they can adjust things, but less than I would hope. Same for vegan.
