We arrived, shown to our table given warm water to drink. Gave our order. Waited ages for our pre dinner drinks. Order a misto salad - one small tomato and one slice of cucumber and very tired salad leaves 13 dollars!!
Our bottle of wine we asked for 3 times, ice for the warm water 3 times.
Fairly certain that the sauces had been reheated in a microwave.
Disappointed to say the least, will not return.
Expensive for the reluctant service and food.
Better service at DQ!!!

Great service. Large portions. Good prices. What more could you ask for. Recommend the Bolognese and Carbonara. One note, skip the pop music, play Frank Sinatra!

Great food and service in a cosy atmosphere. The pasta dishes are fantastic and served in generous portions. The Parmesan grated table-side was a nice touch.
We’ll definitely be back!
The food was definitely lacking in quality. Certainly did not taste like it was authentic Italian. I had the ziti with sausages and it tasted like it came out of a can of Ragu. My mother and wife had the veal paggiti and it was swimming in butter and some sort of weird looking lemony sauce, completely flavourless and definitely you could tell it was previously frozen by looking at the other people‘s food and ours. I swear everything is pre-frozen and it is microwaved to finish we will never return.
It’s a shame because it used to be such a hidden gem on Dunbar Street. Definitely steep downhill turn.
Food looked nice...very nice actually but the salt content was off the charts. This place has become a little long in the tooth.

Very nice head chef (restaurant owner ?) Efficient and fast service, albeit a bit assertive. Green salad was excellent, bread was nice, pasta was nice but nothing outstanding. The tiramisu was very cold, almost tasted as if it had come out of the freezer.

The service at this restaurant is terrible. Servers are incredibly rude, not accommodating to vegetarians, and the staff go out for smoke breaks in front of the restaurant between bringing food to the tables. The staff ruined what otherwise would’ve been a very nice dinner experience because the food wasn’t bad at all.

This West Side restaurant has a cozy interior and potential but needs improvement. The service was friendly but felt rushed despite the empty dining room. The food was plain (store-bought pasta and oversized, likely GMO vegetables), and handling of an additional drink order after a hefty bill (with extra tip) came off as ungracious. Some background music would've been nice, too. I would expect more polish and attention to detail from a West Side restaurant. With better food, service, and atmosphere, this spot could be great.

The tortellini is rainbow Olivieri pre made, the kind that comes in a pack from the grocery store. I feel scammed. That stuff is awful! Why would you serve that? It's offensive to pay $23 for that. Tastes like nothing. If I wanted to eat Costco pasta, I'd spend the $23 on a double pack and eat it for 2 weeks.

We had an absolutely lovely time dining here as a family. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed fettuccini alfredo, puttanesca, and they even made butter-noodles for my young son. All dishes were delicious and the serving sizes meant each of us now has a little box waiting in the fridge for tomorrow’s lunch. And the pianist that was playing tonight added beautifully to the relaxed and romantic atmosphere. We will definitely be returning soon!

The pasta was quite bland and a majority of our table needed to add salt to our dishes. I ordered the vongole and the clams didn’t seem that fresh and were quite fishy. Service was average, however, the waitress stopped attending to us after mains were served. One person at our table wanted to order a dessert but no one checked in on us again and they decided not to order.
