My friend booked a reservation two weeks ago, the restaurant confirmed the reservation. And on the day of reservation they called us two hours ago and cancelled it without providing any reasoning. It was for a birthday celebration. It was so disappointing to see them doing this at the last moment.

Unfortunately service is very poor. No one comes to take order even when you dine in.

You can’t go wrong with La Durée for macarons. The atmosphere and place is really an escape to Paris. I enjoy the service and the selection, with some seasonal changes. I recommend trying some of the classics like lemon and strawberry!

Although the place has a unique and pleasant design the customers service is very poor. The pastries are good, but the Mont Blanc and the Rose cake are really disappointing. Each of them is fifteen dollar, and nothing more than a tablespoon whipped cream.

Ladurée's hot chocolate is exceptional - thick, rich, and decadent. The vanilla dessert was also a delight. However, when it comes to their afternoon tea set, I found myself wishing for more savory options to balance out the sweetness. While everything was delicious, having additional savory choices would help prevent sugar overload and create a more balanced experience. Still, it's worth visiting for their excellent pastries and that outstanding hot chocolate.

Very poor serving skills. They just handed the maccaroons in a paper bag, without serving it newtly on a plate. The white mocha latter tasted like dark chocolate and served in a wine glass with a cheap plastic stirrer, rather than a mug. Didnt make any sense. The macarrons were okay. Overly priced and definitely not worth the price! They have probably priced it 5x more than their worth. Just the hype! Maccroons were soft and no crispy crust. Costco ones taste wayy better. Wasted $19 in this place. Ignore.

Service is good but very discouraging desserts even for a Laduree. Very touristy. Macarons are good though.

Wonderful little cafe that transports you to France! It’s overpriced of course, but that’s because it’s so famous and you pay for the brand name.

I’m not a huge macron person… I enjoy them but I’ll usually opt for another dessert. I’ve tried many things here (macrons and other desserts) and they’re usually quite good but not to match the price. And the staff are friendly and knowledgeable but it’s always too busy to ask questions and you end up waiting quite a while to order. This is not usually a quick stop to buy a souvenir, the lines can take a while if you’re unlucky.
We did manage to find seats and had such a nice time enjoying our desserts in the quaint little space.

If you can find a seat, I recommend enjoying your macrons or desserts here and if you buy a gift, just know that you’re paying for the branding and a decent macron but personally, it’s not my go-to

Love the atmosphere at this store! Their macaroons, beverages and in general, the store is kept super clean and looks welcoming at first sight!
The hot chocolate here was ok. The chocolates was super think and filling, just the way I would expect it to be. The macaroon are out of the world.
I found the food to be overpriced unfortunately but definitely visit again

I got Marie-Antoinette macaron and it had a plastic wrapper inside it. Considering the price tag and the brand name, I expected higher quality control.

They offer a wide variety of macarons and beautifully crafted cakes that are as delicious as they are pretty. The elegant atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for a sweet treat or a relaxing afternoon. A must-visit for dessert lovers!

Enjoyed afternoon tea for two. The Melange Special was well balanced and perfect with chocolate and fruit with cream. The Jardin Bleu Royale was delicately fruity and perfect with the fruit/rose desserts.

The Eugenie were fantastic. I was disappointed that they had sold out of the pistachio. My favorite was the Marie Antoinette. Be warned the Rose is very forward so only get it if you really like that flavour. I did.

The madeleines were Dickens-ian. One was dry and slightly stale. The other was moist and fresh.

The vol-au-vents were excellent, but I found the blue cheese too salty. The tarts were very well executed with perfect structure and appearance but would have preferred a bit more richness in the shell.

The ispahan was delicious, as was the noire. The service was great, and the atmosphere perhaps a bit over-curated but nice. The cutlery and tableware were perfect.

Expensive, but I would recommend a single visit.

Vanilla Mille-Feuille and Macarons, Jardin Bleu Royale. The shop is pretty, the staff is friendly, and the restrooms are comfortable. The food is delicious in general. The cakes are of good quality. But macarons are not worth this price. There are shops in Korea that sell them at a cheaper price and with better quality. I highly recommend the cakes and tea. I do not recommend the macarons.

Visually beautiful, but very overpriced, even when accounting for its location (smack dab in the middle of downtown), especially considering the quality.

First, the price: $22+ for a mille feuille and 2 macarons. Plus they want tip before you're even seated... it's strange (isn't tip defined as payment for waiting/service?)
I get this is an Instagram hot place and the "best place to get gifts for your significant other", but the cost nears extortion.

Second, the flavour: The Marie Antoinette macaron lacked taste. Could be because the rose macaron was extremely sweet and made the other macaron taste relatively bland.
The mille feuille must have been out for a while because it was soggy and almost warm.

Third, the atmosphere: Out of the many empty tables including the ones close to the counter, we were seated right by the washroom (...thanks?). The cutlery and plates were dirty (or perhaps they were going for an antique theme), and not once did any of the staff come to check if everything was ok (but perhaps they don't do that to any customers).

Overall 2 stars because I reserve 1 stars for truly repulsive places. This one was just subpar. Twas a good first and last experience.

I love the macaron here, rose and Marie Antoinette being my favourite flavor. But I mostly go for the Rose ice cream. They seem to do that flavor better than any other place and I’ve tried in the world.
