I visited the Carrall Street location, which says it opened at 6:00 PM but didn’t open until around 6:15 PM. Everyone was friendly, but the server informed me that they could only offer me three tacos because they had nothing else prepared. The server mentioned that most customers typically order burgers and hot dogs, and they were just going to start preparing the meat for the burgers at 6:20 PM. This isnt a dine in location. But instead a remote kitchen in an industrial area that is for food pickups only (like uber eats, skip the dishes, etc). Did not know this until I arrived. Some food trucks around, so maybe they cater out of these during the day? The worker did not mention this when I arrived.
If you’re looking for truly authentic Mexican food in Vancouver, this place is an absolute must-visit! I had the lengua taco, and let me tell you—it was hands down the most authentic, delicious, and high-quality lengua I’ve ever had in this city. From the rich, tender meat to the perfectly crafted tortilla, every bite transported me straight back to Mexico.
