Late review from this summer. The food was great! Better than expected. Seems very authentic(reminded me of Mexico), not like Chipotle. Even the Margarita was quite strong and spicy (in a good way), it was perfect for my non-sweet tooth taste. Wish the place was a bit cleaner and the service was faster, but it was busy. Happy to see the small biz being busy.

Ate here yesterday… Skip this place unless you want horrendous service, dirty tables, and overpriced mediocre food. The owner’s careless response and lack of accountability is indicative of the conditions of the restaurant.

I came in here and asked for the biggest torta they had, instead I got a sandwich. Very tasty would eat here again.

Nice atmosphere, super friendly but not entirely competent service. There was a serious miscommunication between servers and kitchen. The sorta was yummy, the tamale a bit on the dry side.

I had never had a Tortas sandwich by the time I finished eating it I wanted another. I chose the chocolate cake instead and loved that as well.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! Authentic Mexican food and really well priced. Vibe is relaxed and the service is amazing. So friendly and welcoming. Truly service with a simile. Cant wait to try everything on the menu and go back again and again.

Amazing food. One of my favourites when it was on Cambie, the drink menu and patio are a good touch. Staff are kind and make you feel at home.

The service was amazing. However the food wasn’t good all. Not fresh, not tasty, unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be back.

Unfortunately, I was given food poisoning or a stomach virus from the food here. Ordered takeout. Rice and beans were cold. I'm guessing the food was past its expiry date because I hardly ate any of it after tasting the beans and rice. Also portions were too small in my opinion. But that doesn't really matter to this review. Paid $$ to be poisoned. There were other people dining in that day. I hope that they are ok....Maybe the drinks are good?

We came here with a larger group. There was seating available at 6pm on a weekday. The establishment is a little smaller with minimal staff. The service was slower than expected but their general attitude, hospitality and attentiveness make up for it.
The tortas were very good. We all finished our plates. The fish tacos were on special and very tasty. We liked how the tacos came with guacamole on the side. The portion of ceviche was bigger than expected and enjoyed by all.
Everyone left happy and full.
