Laura's is my favorite place in all of White Rock. I visit monthly from the states to see my son. Our weekend routine always involves grabbing a table, laying out a series of games - chess, backgammon, Sequence, Rummikub, cards - ordering magma-hot chai latte, and letting my son pick a confectionary delicacy - usually the lemon cake, cinnamon bun, or some cookie. If he's feeling spicy, he'll get a cocoa, too, to sugar up his spice. We spend anywhere from an hour to three playing games and just being a part of the community. I love the locals vibe. The people, the service, the food, the drink, the atmosphere are all fire! This place is the real deal. Well done on creating such a magical place to consume and commune.

Cosy little diner place. Was a great spot to hang out while I killed some time and had a bite to eat. Highly recommend going in sending them some business.
A trip back in time, and yummy. Great staff, too.

This is a charming and personable lunch and breakfast spot with old-time friendly customer service and old-school atmosphere. Really nice portions, and we enjoyed our food.

Awesome, cozy little diner with all sorts of clientel. The veggie burger is delicious, made of kidney beans, and grilled crispy. The chinese food is a generous portion size and has a solid amount of vegetables.

Average diner food. Cool old building. But pour the hot coffee into plastic lined disposable cups for people dining in? No thanks

This hidden family-owned dinner in Olympic Village/Mt Pleasant area was a lucky find!
The veggie burger and fries were seriously good. Looking forward to trying their other dishes - they have a full breakfast menu (until 11 am), classic diner/pub fare, and Chinese food.
