Lee's Donuts Granville Island

Filling is minimal. At this price point, there are better options. Overall, decent but over-hyped.

got the honey glazed donut and didn’t get the hype for this one. It’s so sweet that I couldn’t even finish the whole donut by myself.

Okay, I’m not saying Lee’s Donuts is bad, I’m saying it’s overrated.

All of a sudden, after some food blogger visited Vancouver & Seth Rogen took him to Lee’s Donuts, about 7-ish years ago(?), it started to have lineups for the first time ever, and they’ve been able to start opening other locations.

I am happy for their success, but it’s one of those things that I don’t really think is worth lining up for when there are other options in town.

I recommend also checking out:
- ***Duffin’s @ Knight & 41st, where the donuts are just as good & way less money, and they serve other types of food, too, a sort of random yet awesome mix of Filipino, Mexican & American food

- Lucky’s available at 49th Parallel on Main St & 13th & a few other places

- JJ Bean locations (unfortunately the Granville Island location doesn’t sell their baked goods)

I wish they had a least one vegan donut, but they don’t and they are missing out on a niche market that would seek them out

Definitely a great spot to fill your sweet tooth in Granville.Great donuts that are not overly sweet. 😋

I come to granville island pretty regularly and every time I always have to come to this donut shop. The stores around it are also very nice.

Im a big sweets lover! Specifically donuts. This was suppose to be a cinnamon churro cake donut. It wasn’t good. Lacks flavor,the texture isn’t good. Dry. Took one bite and threw it out. Tim’s is better.. disappointing!
