Legacy Senior Living (The Leo Wertman Residence)

While staying at a nearby Airbnb we discovered the Ash Bistro located within Legacy Senior Living and are so grateful that we did! The food was delicious and economical and their staff made great efforts to make sure that we had a wonderful experience. Sending a special thanks to Kenny, Suzanne, Paulo, and the rest of the team there!

Have been dining at the Ash Street Bistro, and their food is simply amazing with exceptional good value. My favourite dish is the poke bowl, and the cost for their poke bowl is the same as all other poke places in the city. Enjoy luxury dining experience with the same cost that you would pay out there. I would highly recommend this place!

Hands down a class act establishment. The staff at Legacy are always going above and beyond.After extensive research to many of the other homes in Vancouver, our family are very happy to have made Legacy their home.I highly recommend to anyone looking for their parent's retirement paradise.

The worst management ever, there is a revolving door of staff,because the work environment is so toxic.Double standards all over the place. Zero communication skills with a my way and only my way attitude,the staff are not treated well.Of course the staff will put on the proper smiles and such but it is clearly a misrepresentation to claim this as fine dining or 5star service it’s.more like a training ground for insincerity and falsehoods. Never been treated worse andWould never recommend this to even my worst enemy

I’ve performed at Legacy a few times with my musical group Beauty Shop Dolls- and it is STUNNING! Sandy the recreation manager is a warm host, organized and professional, and took such great care of us and the residents. All the staff were kind and helpful, and seeing everyone smile and sing a long during the show is a delight. We’ve performed at all the top notch residences, but Legacy can’t be beat for beauty, atmosphere, and service :)

Having performed regularly for the past year at Legacy Senior Living, I highly recommend everyone interested in being a part of this beautiful, warm and well managed place. I had the pleasure of playing a piano recital in Legacy's beautiful foyer. All of the staff were so helpful and kind, in particular Sandy who helped set it all up. Looks like a great place to live.

I've performed at Legacy several times now and Sandy (the Programs Manager) is always a pleasure to work with. She is extremely professional and great with communication!

My mom and dad has been going to the fitness classes Monday-Friday for the last 7 months. My parents loves the trainer and he’s really good at his job. He keeps them motivated to keep coming to his fitness classes in the morning.

The food, staff, management, and the trainer are all great here. They are very helpful when it came to answering questions. Staff there are very polite. Food is top notch! All in all, awesome place to be for independent living at a retirement community!

After looking at many retirement residences for my grandmother we chose Legacy because of the independent feel, the tasteful and modern decor and the friendly staff. 3 years later we still feel we have made the right decision and my grandmother couldn’t be happier
