I love the feel of this cafe but the breakfast sandwich needs improvement. Personally I found it quite odd and boring. Mine had a bit of arugula, pickles, & a rubbery egg patty & didn’t seem to have any sauce. Definitely overpriced for what it is. It would be great with a chutney or relish of sorts and a fresh fried egg. Option to add bacon perhaps too?
Croissants are good and latte wasn’t bad. Would love to try some of your other pastries at some point.

Grabbed a coffee here during car free day which meant it was super busy. There was a whole line up but the service was quick despite of the number of people ordering and they were all very nice too! The coffee was good, just wanted a bit more kick to it.

For a $13 breakfast sandwich … boy is it lacking! Absolutely no spread that I could detect or sauce, let alone salt & pepper. Leaving a very dry texture with every bite that’s 70% bread. Super disappointed. I feel like the cheaper croissant one would’ve had more dimension. The London fog was decent though, although very unsweetened compared to others across the city.

Lovely staff and good pastries and snacks.
Dietary restrictions: I've never seen anything with peanuts there and the staff can always answer my questions regarding allergies.

Wow, has this place ever gone downhill since the original owners years ago! I went there for the first time in years. This used to be a lovely community café with their standard black bean soup. I was absolutely shocked with the food and presentation and the attitude of the people working there. I ordered a ‘small’ bowl of soup. It came in the tiniest bowl. Stark white bowl on a white plate with literally less than half a cup of potato soup. Not even a piece of bread on the side. Dismal presentation. I asked the person who took my order is there any bread or anything that comes with it? He reluctantly said “ OK you can have a piece of bread” and then threw a piece of very stale hard bread on the side. The bread was not included until I asked for it. Seriously are you trying to save a few cents by not giving someone a piece of bread with their soup? Half a cup of soup and a stale piece of yesterday’s bread all for the bargain of seven dollars! Honestly, the amount of soup was so peculiarly small that I almost thought it was a joke. It wouldn’t be enough to fill a two-year-old’s stomach. I politely mentioned this to someone making coffees who appeared to be a manager, but who knows? I told him about how I had to ask for a piece of bread, and the piece of bread I got was stale… And what about their portions? I tried to be polite to convey this to him that I felt really ripped off at his establishment. He had the worst attitude. Basically agreed with me that the bread was stale and I was lucky to get a piece at all, and made no comment of refunding or providing extra service to make me feel happier about my purchase or my visit there. I felt sincerely ripped off. This is not the way to treat Members of the community that you serve. Is there no such thing as a decent bowl of soup anymore? Also, the soup was seriously bland and lacking flavour. This place was so good years ago!

Cute cafe to catch up with friends or do some reading. I had the matcha latte which had a strong roasted matcha flavour! The seats inside can stay occupied and some stay quite awhile to do some work, but there is a nice space outside to work.

This is a relaxing cafe recommended in Vancouver. They have a lot of classic bakery items, and their pies and cakes are especially popular! The inside of the restaurant is bright and comfortable, and the atmosphere is appealing as the locals are relaxing and having fun. The coffee is also delicious and goes great with freshly baked pastries. It gets a little busy during weekend brunch, but it's worth the wait. A perfect place to chat with friends or just relax by yourself!

Delicious coffee, lovely flat whites. Cookies and sandwiches are delicious. Love the interior vibes and also the outside patio seating, which has an awning and umbrellas so is rainproof!

This place is perfect! My partner and I walked there every day to get our morning coffee and sat outside to enjoy. There is ample seating, and the inside is nice and cozy. Highly recommend!

I enjoy coming here for the great coffee and pastries. The space is often busy so I don't consider it a great spot to grab a table to co-work but that is by design. I could see this as a great spot to hang out with friends and chat though. I often grab coffee and then go outside to the picnic benches instead.
