They had a large selection of items, and they were very kind to me even though I wasn't good at English.I heard that the three recommended red wines are shown in the attached image.I'm looking forward to drinking the Le vineux pin red wine I bought when I return home, as I haven't seen any reviews in Japanese.

What a great experience! I was there celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary and wanted a good champagne for our dinner. The clerk was so nice and recommended a reasonably priced sparkling wine, telling me, "It would put a smile on my face." It did! It was lovely, and even my husband, who doesn't like bubbles, thought that it was tasty. My only regret was not going back to get more. Thank you for helping me and helping my smile.

Extremely rude staff.I entered the store. Two men behind the cash register. Neither said "hello" or acknowledged me, even though the place was empty (I now know why). I had to say "hi" to them. When asking about a product, I was met with an ignorant reply (from a man with a French accent) along the lines of "no, that product is from [x]", which, to that, my reply was, "you don't import?". A simple, "no, we don't carry it" or "maybe try [x]" would have sufficed.Honestly, I wish I read the other reviews. They are right. If you would like a great selection of products with genuine, non pretentious staff, Legacy Liquor, just down in False Creek is hands down better.

Great store but surprised by the lack of customer service. Their staff was surprisingly rude without a reason.

Excellent ambience, great friendly staff. Not a fan of the spirits :(

Rude staff.

Great wine selection and service. I went to the cashier directly for some recs. I got one bottle at a good price and I was on my way. It was a local wine and paired well with my goodies from across the street.

Selection was great but they need to make sure their bottles are priced correctly. Took a bottle of Fleurie to the counter that was labelled $39 only to get charged $49 for it. When I asked about the price difference I was told "the bottle was labelled wrong. $49 is the correct price." That's a bad look. If it's a $10 difference just own the mistake and honor the price on the bottle. Otherwise it feels like you're just making up a price based on however you're feeling that day.

Wonderful place to explore a wide selection of wines from around the world - great variety and lots of local choices too

Had a great experience here!Staff were super helpful.

Staff is pretty reliable at either ignoring you or failing to show any appreciation for a customer spending money in a business which inflates prices more than their competition.Liberty staff at their Commercial Drive or 8th and Cambie locations at least have generally good customer service practices. That makes me feel better for paying overvalue for wine.

Super helpful, pairing suggestions always taste great!

Was happy to stumble upon another Liberty location (even though the selection is smaller), until the staff literally threw the purchased item and change onto the counter. This guy clearly hates his job or is racist. Or both. Either way, was my worst service experience in years - definitely not a good look for the store. I hope the management reads this and actually does something to do better.
