The business is not a flashy storefront and maybe that gave us some reluctance to stop in here for our to-go order. Big mistake, This pizza was awesome! Find it at the bottom of the library mega-building, on the corner. There's a table out front and it is a busy spot. We took ours to take with us and enjoyed it immensely!

Pizza is ok but not very fresh or variety. This area is not busy at all so once pizza is cooked it sits long. Covid made it worse but even before not many people coming around except for troublemakers using the library as shelter.

This isn't a 1 star restaurant but it isn't a 4 store restaurant either by any means. The pizza I had was very dry but not the worst pizza I've ever had. The price was pretty good for the gigantic slice that you get. I'd recommend getting a fresh pizza instead of by the slice, or make sure to come right when they open for better quality pizza. I work right in the library so the location is very convenient for me, but I think I rather grab a bowl of ramen from the place next to it instead of pizza. Not the best option in the library concourse, but not the worst. It's average, to say the least.

I had jut met with a client and decided to stop by for a quick dinner. I ordered two slices of pizza, Tropical Pig and Chicago style. They were both bland. The whole wheat crust was heavy. What a waste of money.

This location is inside the library. As far as their pizza goes it is sub par and really expensive, that is expected, however, what really angers me is that the customer service has always been just awful. Their selection is okay but nothing to write home about. Do yourself a favor if you're in the library and just go to the McDonald's across the street.

So I heard a lot about this place. I stopped by to get some pizza after studying. I got two slices that summed up to be 6 bucks. Which I find pretty expensive considering the quality of it. It was quite dry and lacked some flavours. I kinda expected more from it. However they got some pretty cool drinks like Dad's Soda

I was in VPL, and forgot to bring food, and was too lazy to walk any further to get some. So I decided to grab a bite from here. I didn't have high expectations for this place, and, well...the pizza was disgusting! I guess I compare every pizza to pizza that I've had in Italy...but still...who eats this stuff? I'm sure some variations are edible but the mushroom one was awful. The crust was too thick, too chewy, their was probably triple the amount of cheese on it then was necessary, and on top of that the mushrooms tasted weird...and I love mushrooms! Never again.

Our first day in Vancouver was kind of a wash between rainy weather and no real plans. We walked all around the area in which we were staying and after ending up at the way cool library, we decided to share a "snack" here. This place is small and there are a few regular pizzas and at least one specialty pizza offered each day. There are drinks and some other stuff like fresh baked cookies and other things I don't quite remember. The pizza slices are large and during the week, they offer happy hour prices for pizza-something like $3.50 for a HUGE slice of pizza and a drink. The pizza itself is nothing special, but it is better than some of the chain restaurant pizza I have had. The price and location can't be beat and the people watching opportunities are superb!

This location in the library...in some ways I think it'd get increased foot traffic from the library, and in some ways maybe it gets less than a street front shop. Whatever, the case, they're not very concerned about pleasing their customers. I went in to get a slice, and was first dumbfounded by the price. Man, that's expensive. But the real disappointment came when I looked in their case. They had a grand total of 6 slices: 3 supreme types, 2 ham and pineapple, and then something with mushrooms. I didn't want any of those- I asked if they had a pepperoni or cheese in the oven. They said no- but they were making a new supreme- it would be ready in 12 minutes. Not what I wanted, at all.

This Flying Wedge location has it pretty easy being in the busy Library Square. People are doing stuff at the library, they're hungry and looking for a cheap, filling meal, oops there's Flying Wedge right there. It's not the cheapest slice around - at nearly $5 a go, it's downright expensive. Still, they're local and they've created some innovative pies over the years, and they use good ingredients. The problem was that I get to the front of line, finally, and I'm pretty much forced to take whatever happens to be on display. I can see a couple fresh pies in the oven behind the counter, but I don't want to hold up the line, so I've just got to take what I can get. Isn't there something a little amiss paying such a premium price for whichever odds and ends they have lying around? The pizza itself is hot and tasty as all get out, mind you. Perhaps that's all that matters - that all the options, no matter how few, are bound to be delicious.
